Great food, great service, and great decor! I had the Cowboy candy burger wirh fries, she had the Mushroom Swiss cheese burger with onion rings. Mine might have been the best burger I’ve ever eaten? The cheese was caramelized. Crazy good! The fries had a great fry on them and the onion rings had a light crispy batter. The folk art and decor were very nice. Fantastic clean bathroom!

Absolutely the best burger I’ve ever had in my life!!
It was melt in my mouth good, the combination of sauces, peppers, bacon and cheese were perfect.
Accompanying fries were done exactly right like crunch outside perfect temperature.
I am truly shocked that there’s not a line of traffic from Albuquerque to this place.
The service was wonderful, the company was great, and the atmosphere was surprisingly comfortable and inviting!

We were traveling from Colorado to Arizona and taking our time winding through New Mexico… one day we had traveled all day and it was starting to be evening time so we were beginning to look for somewhere to park our RV and camp for the night. We drove around looking for somewhere and couldn’t quite find anything and we were getting tired and hungry. Then we decided just to push on through but on the edge of town, we discovered tumbleweeds Diner. The sign said they were closed, but the server told us to come on in. It was a Sunday evening and the vibe in this place was awesome. Exactly what you want in a southwestern diner. We got burgers and fries and a salad and they were delicious and sustained us and then they let us park and camp on their property for the night. It was beautiful and amazing and this place is a very special place.

This is a really great spot. I came in for lunch and sat on the patio outside. All the food looked really good, my burger was excellent. They have a nice bar setup for drinks. Service was top notch. I highly recommend to anyone passing by.

We love this place! We travel out of our way to Magdalena to visit Osiris and Michal and their small-talented team. We crave their burgers and fries but everything is house-made, small batch and delicious! Call ahead or follow them on social media—sometimes they sellout. Supporting small businesses, especially off the beaten path is beautiful thing to do!

Great, fresh food. A wonderfully unique spin on Mac n cheese – complete with bacon and green chili. I had the southwest chicken salad with spice level to order – I ordered medium, and being from NOLA it hit just right. My husband had the cheese burger and loved every bite. My husband said “this is a restaurant oasis for miles around.”
They had vegetarian options and the waitress was very accommodating to the tables around us.
Inside is cool – filled with gorgeous art done by a local artists, and healthy happy plants. The owners are friendly and welcoming.

This is a great stop in Magdalena. The cafe has a unique atmosphere, fun gifts, and fantastic burgers! They are local, support local, and hand make their items. I haven’t branched out to try too many of the other menu items as it’s hard to not order the green chile cheeseburger with a large pile of fries. If you are driving through you can call ahead to order pick-up, or stretch your legs while you’re food is made, it doesn’t take long.
