We went to the Bardstown Rd location tonight to compare this location with the Outer Loop location. (We are going there Thursday) we were greeted at the door immediately by Tatiana and she took us directly to a table. She wasn’t completely satisfied that it was clean enough, so she wiped it again. She took our drink orders, immediately and was back very quickly. They have so many good choices, it took me a while to take up my mind. We had a small yellow Queso, which was really good. My husband chose the Chimi Dinner with chicken, Enchilada sauce, Sour cream, Rice, and Refried Beans. I had the appetizer of 3 Mini Beef Chimis. (There was a choice of Chicken Chimis.) It didn’t take long for Tatjana to bring us our food. Our food was hot and crispy and so good. It was quiet while we were there and it was nice and warm in the restaurant. The parking was very close to the front door. While we were eating our server got us another bowl of hot chips and kept checking on us. When we were so full, and had to stop eating, she brought us a box without us asking. She was so attentive and so pleasant. When I signed up for the Tumbleweed Reward Club, they sent me a text good for $2.00 off with a $9.99 order. We had a great time!!

This was ordered from uber eats. Normally I enjoy tumbleweed but this last order was missing elements of the dish, was soggy, and smaller portions. My fiancé and I were very disappointed. I commented afterwards that we should have just gotten Taco Bell. His burrito was missing the queso that is usually drizzled on so it was dry. I had a very small portion of black beans with my taco and it was packaged with the tacos so it was spilled over onto them. The hard taco was so soggy it was falling apart so I had to eat it with a fork. The taste wasn’t bad but the texture was soggy/soft when i was expecting a crunchy taco. We spent way too much to receive this type of presentation and food portion.

I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the service I experienced at your restaurant during a recent visit at the Bashford Manor location.
Our party of five was seated promptly, but after that point, we were completely ignored. For over 24 minutes, no server acknowledged our table—no greeting, no water, no explanation, and no check-in of any kind. We made visible attempts to get attention, but none were successful. When we finally got the waitress’s attention, she was only willing to take drink orders and not take any food orders.
This level of neglect is unacceptable in any dining establishment, regardless of how busy the restaurant may have been. A simple acknowledgment or brief communication would have gone a long way, but instead we were left feeling invisible and disrespected. Ultimately, we left without ordering anything.
I wanted to bring this to your attention because this experience fell far below reasonable expectations and reflects poorly on your operation. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address whatever breakdown led to such a lapse in basic hospitality.

My brother and I go every other Thursday and I always bring my canine partner Luna 1400 Adam the staff absolutely love Luna and they treat us like family. I would highly recommend the Tumbleweed on Bardstown Road in West buechel because from walking in the front door Shelby greets you and treats you like family then our waiter or waitress comes over we know everybody by name and they call us by first name it’s definitely a wonderful atmosphere please give them a try. Absolutely disappointing I had my Birthday dinner here The food was horrible I got the TexMex potato and half of the toppings were missing. I had a flag her down 10 minutes later to ask for the rest of my potato. None of the steaks at the table were cooked correctly. I had nothing to drink throughout my whole meal I had to ask several times for my son’s drink and she finally brings it at the end of everybody eating I asked for A1 sauce, three times and never received it Cut the story short everybody boxed their food up to go and still managed to tip 100 because it was a 18 top poor service do better !!!

The food wasn’t bad, per se, just generic. Our server was the bomb dot com though. (I know some people hate it, but I love when servers call me “honey” or “darlin'” or “baby.”) There wasn’t anything noteworthy about the atmosphere, again, pretty generic.

Iced over parking lot barely cleared especially in the handicap spaces. The staff were relatively kind but lethargic. There were maybe 5 tables seated and it still took 20-30 mins for food. The qeuso tasted like it was watered down but that might have been intentional seeing how the restaurant charges you a card fee unless you pay with cash. Every meal was dried out like they had been under hot lights for a long time. The daily special was a hamburger that looked sad and tasted the same. I would not recommend this place and this was my second and last visit.
