Great restaurant, very technical style of ordering. Call, request or pay bill via button. You can order online via app in when dine in so people can order for themselves on same table. No worry abt splitting check later. They add 15% gratituty on every check, tip are not required on top of that but you are welcome to. Staff was nice, food was great. Thai tea was awesome, love their serving style so it doesn’t get diluted.

My friend and I came here for a birthday dinner, and the experience was great. The staff were welcoming and never made us feel rushed even though we arrived close to closing time. We ordered papaya salad, pork wontons, tom yum, basil fried rice, calamari, grilled chicken, roti canai, mango sticky rice, and Thai tea. Every dish was delicious, and I’d definitely recommend this place.

I stopped by on my lunch break around 12:05 PM on a weekday. Parking was pretty congested, and I ended up having to park farther away near the Food Terminal side. When I walked in, there were only about three other tables occupied, and I was seated right away. The décor was beautiful just as others have mentioned and it really gave me the feeling of being in Thailand. I ordered a Thai tea, which came in a small kettle so you could refill it yourself. For my meal, I went with the Pad Thai, listed online at $12. Despite the restaurant not being busy, my food took about 25 minutes to arrive. It seemed like they may have forgotten my order at first. The Pad Thai itself was average similar to many others I’ve had. It could have used more flavor, though the shrimp and beef were decent. What surprised me most was the bill: one dish and a drink came out to about $25, which felt overpriced for what I received. Overall, the service was fine and the atmosphere was nice, but between the wait time, the food, and the price, I don’t see myself coming back. Still, I’m glad I gave it a try.

I hate to leave a negative review for one of my once-favorite Thai/Lao restaurants, Tum Pok Pok. My family and I have been coming here since they first opened and truly loved it in the beginning. Unfortunately, over the years things have changed…and not for the better.
They’ve switched to QR-code ordering only, and a 15% service charge is now automatically added to the bill. While I understand rising food costs, the quality of both the food and service has noticeably declined.
Tonight was by far our worst experience. We ordered basil fried rice with no protein, Tum Lao (papaya salad), and Tod Man Pla (fish cakes). The fried rice arrived with red and green bell peppers, long sliced onions, tomatoes, and baby corn..,nothing like expected, and there was no basil at all. As someone familiar with Thai food, this was very disappointing. When we asked the waiter to confirm the order, he said it was correct, turned off the call button, and walked away to join friends at the bar. That interaction alone was very disappointing
The other dishes were just okay. At this point, the experience feels hit or miss—and tonight was definitely a miss. We were hungry and didn’t want to waste money, so we ate what we could, though I regret not sending the food back.
Sadly, this will be our last visit to Tum Pok Pok.

I love all the Thai food here especially Crispy pork belly stir fried with basil, pink drink, Thai black tea, Pad See Ew, Tom Yum Soup. The decorations inside made me missing home in Thailand so much. They used QR code to order and pay for food which I found convenient. They also have parking spots specifically for this restaurant. The staffs are also nice and friendly. I will come back again.

Food and drink items pictured: Basil fried rice, Kua Gling Ground Pork with Jasmine Rice (super Spicy), Pla Sam Ros, Gai Tod (Thai fried chicken), Thai Tea Tini and a glass of white wine.
Thanks to the owner’s daughter for her hospitality. We will be back soon.

Stumbled across this gem right next to our favorite lunch spot, Best BBQ, and it did not disappoint! We had just come back from Bangkok and were really craving authentic Thai food — and this place hit the spot. The flavors reminded us of what we loved about eating in Thailand. The tom yam soup was a little on the sweeter side than what we’re used to, but still very flavorful! Service was super warm and welcoming.
Would come back again for sure!

Used the app to order and it worked well. Had several dishes and the only reason I dropped a star is because we order pork belly with 3 different dishes and it was dry and tough. Not impressed. However, our favorite was the Larb Gai and the Pad Thai. The tea was excellent as well.
They are a little slow to bring food. I was VERY disappointed with the pork belly and that makes me wonder about the freshness of the seafood as well. Pork belly for a Thai restaurant should be easy. It tasted like we got old, dried out pork belly. Don’t order it.

I got the Drunken Noodles and they came out fast and hot. OMG all of the veggies were fresh and the crispy pork was crisping! The servers were friendly and attentive. I got a cold Sopporo and I was in heaven. I will be back for lunch, the next time I go to City Market. They have a full bar…I bet it gets live at night!
