This place was a huge disappointment.
First red flag — the menu on the wall had no prices, so I asked the lady behind the counter how much a veggie burrito costs. She told me there were two sizes: a “regular” for about $15 and an “extra large” for $18.94.
When she showed me the sizes, the “regular” looked extremely small, so even though it felt overpriced, I went with the extra large.
The problem?
The burrito I received (as you can see in the photo) was tiny — somewhere between a regular and a small burrito anywhere else.
I finished it in literally a 2 minute, three 4 bites, and it was just… it was okay
While eating, I checked the taqueria’s own website and was shocked to see the prices listed as $12 for a regular and $14 for the extra large/supreme, and that those prices include roasted veggies. When I went to pay, I asked about the difference.
The lady told me, “Oh yes, but that doesn’t include the roasted veggies.”
I showed her that the website specifically says it does include them, and she then told me, “Oh, the manager changed the price today.”
Honestly, the whole situation felt shady, like they charge different prices depending on who asks.
Another surprising thing:
when she made my “extra large” veggie burrito (again, $18.93), she asked what I wanted in it—corn, onions, tomatoes, etc.
When I said “all the veggies,” she told me I could only pick one and each additional vegetable was $1 extra.
Every other burrito place I’ve been to — charging $10–$14 for bigger, better burritos — lets you choose multiple toppings without nickel-and-diming you.
Overall, between the lack of price transparency, the upcharging, the tiny portion size, and the contradictory explanations, I won’t be coming back.
My suggestion for the Taqueria owner or manger if you charge $19 for a Veggie burrito it better be really good or very generous portions or both for that price point…
The food was an absolute delight, bursting with bold flavors that danced on the palate. Every dish, from the perfectly seasoned tacos to the rich, comforting mole, felt like a celebration of tradition and craftsmanship. The ingredients were fresh, the presentation inviting, and the portions generous enough to leave us happily satisfied. We couldn’t resist sharing plates just to savor more of the incredible variety, each bite a testament to the chef’s passion for authentic Latino cuisine.
What truly sets this restaurant apart is the sense of community it fosters. The lively music in the background paired beautifully with the clinking of glasses and cheerful chatter, creating a joyful vibe that lingered long after the meal. It’s the kind of place where you lose track of time, caught up in great company and even better food. We left with full hearts and a promise to return soon—this gem is a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of Latino hospitality and culinary excellence
The chicken was well seasoned and juicy. We all loved the churros! And the flan was delicious also homemade flavor! Will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends!
I was bummed it wasn’t open at the beginning of summer but am so glad they are now!
