The sign on the door to this restaurant says.. “Come in. We’re awesome”. They are not wrong! Tulum is a small Mexican restaurant, really a counter serve place with three tables and a counter inside and four tables outside in the garden. The small size however is more than made up for with the outsized service and good food. One of us had some pretty stringent meat allergies that can cause issues but the ladies working here not only accomodated without issue, they even proactively suggested a modification after we’d placed the order. The staff are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and alone made the visit worth it. Add the excellent food to the mix and we hope to come back again. Although we don’t live locally, we really enjoyed the visit to Bethlehem so will be sure to stop in again the next time we are in town. Thank you for a great experience.

Nice local restaurant, have some interesting selection for burrito. There are a few indoor seatings, some more outdoor ones in the back of the building.
The burrito portion is good for lunch. The tropical salad (like pickled cabbage) and guacamole are good and refreshing. The beef is tender, Mayan burrito isn’t heavy overall because the vinegary and sweet sauce.
Sauce options:
Green- sour liquidy, similar to pickle juice
Orange- sweet and spicy fruity, also more liquid.
Red- hot and tangy, the hottest and thickest among the 3

This place is right along a street where some other college food places are. It has a charm about it. The food was good and a good sized serving for a well stuffed burrito for under $10. There are a few tables and a counter to sit at. It’s literally just across the street from one end of Lehigh University. The service was nice and I could see the food being prepared with care. I’d go back there for sure. I’m an adult visiting the college with my son and I was plenty full for the ride back. Bathroom was clean enough and looked to be cared for.

Been there a couple times.
Really good burrito enough for a meal.
Wow the wings were so good. I got a wingadilla and it was fresh and tasty. Fairy priced, close to campus, and good staff.

Wow, this tiny place is amazing. Had burrito bowls and tacos. The pork is the thing to get. We’ve never had anything flavored quite like it. Pork tacos shown in photo.
I said it’s tiny, and it is. Side bar seating for about 5 on stools. Then just 3 (I think that’s right) small tables. I’m betting they have a brisk to-go business.
But seriously, try anything with the pork.

Love this small joint! Chicken quesadilla, beef burrito with verde sauce, guacamole, and nachos was so good. Chips were crispy. If you like hot sauce, they have a variety. I personally love the jalapeno!!

Planned a night out, Google said they were open for another 4 hours. Drove 15 minutes and they are closed. I’ve only eaten here once because they are closed randomly. Ya’ll can update your times on Google when you close early to avoid this stuff.

I visited Tulum to check out their hard shell tacos that call “The Taco” on their menu. These are fried flour tortillas that are generously filled with lettuce, cabbage, cheese, creme sauce and a choice of meat. I chose pork, which was quite good and reminded me of the filling for a pulled pork sandwich. The only down-side was the tortilla shell broke down during eating and this resulted in a “taco salad” that was finished with the “spork” supplied with the order. It was quite large and a single taco was plenty. I also ordered a pork “mini-rito” which, as the name suggests, is a small burrito. It contained rice, cheese and the same pork used in the taco. My wife chose the vegetarian tacos on corn tortillas with rice and beans. She said they were quite good. Tulum is located directly across fro Lehigh University with street parking and it appears most of their customers are to-go for students. The interior is small and accommodates 13 people if full. Tulum is a good value for what we had and worth returning to again when in the area.
