Very nice place! My friend and I went to Tulum Mexican Cuisine to eat a late lunch, all of us order different things to try as much as we could because they were new on the market.
And I have to say everything was delicious and the presentation absolutely divine in each plate, I highly recommend the enchiladas verdes (they’re not spicy). And for the spicy dish we choose the Camarones à la diabla that they disappoint us a little bit as Mexicans we like spicy tasty food and we expected salsa on the side or in the plate to honor the name of the plate ( a great salsa hits different with good food) but for sensitive palates it’s a great place to no be scare of spicy.

The atmosphere was great and the service are really nicely!

We had an amazing experience here. The Maji Maji tacos were bursting with flavor and absolutely delicious, easily the highlight of the meal. The music set the perfect vibe, making the whole atmosphere even better. Our waiter was awesome, friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome. Overall, everything from the food to the service was on point. I totally recommend this place and can’t wait to come back!

Tulum Mexican Cuisine is a beautifully decorated spot with a unique, somewhat eclectic vibe. My husband enjoyed an Old Fashioned, which he said was well-made. For appetizers, we shared guacamole that was presented with strawberries and blueberries—definitely a departure from the usual, and while creative, the flavors didn’t quite come together for us.

For entrees, my husband had the red snapper and praised the flavorful sauce. I ordered the mole enchiladas, and they didn’t quite meet my expectations; the flavor was different from traditional mole, and I felt the sauce tasted burned. Our dessert was tres leches, plated with fried corn, which was an interesting twist, though one bite included an unpleasant, sharp note that seemed to indicate the dish wasn’t fully balanced. It also tasted a bit strong on alcohol, which wasn’t cooked off, so that put me off the dessert.

Service was slow, and my empty tea wasn’t refilled during the meal. Our bill before tip was close to $100 for the 2 of us. Given they’re a new restaurant, there’s clearly potential, and I hope they’ll refine some of these kinks as they settle in. I wouldn’t mind given them another chance in the future but won’t be a place I will be rushing to go to.

2nd time to visit in 2 days. Lunch yesterday with co-workers & dinner tonight with my daughter. Everything has been authentic & amazing. Ceviche yesterday as an appetizer that was out of this world. Redfish & Shrimp as entree. Mind blown! Coworkers got the pork belly and couldn’t stop raving. 10 out of 10. Will keep coming back every chance we get!

When things are done right, you just have to stop and applaud the owners.

We came here on Sunday, and let me tell you — it’s been a LONG time since I’ve eaten food this damn good. We tried the queso fundido with chorizo (10/10), the mole enchiladas (10/10), and the tuna tostada (another solid 10/10 but this one I think is a little overpriced)

It was so good we literally asked to speak to the owner just to congratulate him in person. That’s how impressed we were.

Huge kudos please keep that quality going, because if the rest of the menu is this delicious, trust me, we’re going to be regulars REAL quick.

And of course, we totally understand they’re still in the soft opening, so the service will naturally needs some improving no big deal at all when the food is this amazing.

Super recommend!

My friends and I wanted to try this new place and went in with high expectations. Unfortunately, I personally wasn’t satisfied with either the service or the food.
Even though we had a reservation, we still had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. The cocktails were good overall. My first drink was a coconut based cocktail that tasted fresh and sour, which I liked. However, when I ordered the same cocktail again, it tasted completely different and much sweeter, which I didn’t enjoy.
For my main dish, I ordered the Pulpo al Pastor. Unfortunately, this was the worst dish I have ever had. It was boiled octopus served cold ( or maybe warm?) in a very cold lime and pineapple marinade (listed on the menu as a homemade chimichurri). The marinade was extremely sour and overpowered everything. I honestly couldn’t understand the concept of this dish. It was served cold, yet came with mixed tacos. Neither the flour nor the corn tortillas paired well with it. Nothing about the dish worked together. I only managed to eat some of the octopus, but the marinade really ruined my mood. I informed the server, but he didn’t make any effort to offer a replacement dish or even a discount. I personally would give this place 3 stars, but I’m adding one extra star because my friends’ dishes were better than mine. Final rating: 4 stars.

My coworkers and I were excited to try Tulum Mexican Cuisine, as we were regulars at the previous restaurant and were hoping to find a new happy hour spot. When we walked in, we were impressed by the chic atmosphere. The menu looked very appetizing, and the $6 happy hour margaritas were great.

Unfortunately, that’s where the issues began. There were some communication challenges with our server due to her thick accent and limited English, which led to a couple of incorrect dishes being brought out. We decided to keep them, and thankfully everything we tried was delicious.

The biggest issue came when it was time to pay. The prices on our checks were higher than what we had seen on the menu. After some back and forth, we learned that our hostess had given us lunch menus instead of dinner menus. After a long wait, the restaurant did honor the lunch prices since it was their mistake.

Later, I looked for their menu online to order food to-go for my husband, but there were no menus available on their website for me to share with him. While the food itself was very tasty, the overall experience was a bit frustrating, and I’m not sure if I’ll be returning.

This is my second time here. We were sat quickly. The waiter was really patient and was able to recommend some dishes. He was also slightly new so any hiccups are understandable. It’s a nice family friendly restaurant with good food and drinks. They had a happy hour at the time. Everyone was very kind and the food was delicious. Ask for the green salsa if you want something spicy.

Absolutely amazing and so delicious. The decorations are so cute and chic. The food was amazing. The asadero with fruit was so cool to see when they light it up. It was so delicious. It comes with a bread and and it has such a unique taste. Definitely a must. The enchiladas de mole were also amazing. It has a chocolate taste with a spicy after taste. They’re filled with a great amount of chicken and comes with rice and beans. My husband ordered the sabana de res and it’s such a great portion. I will definitely go back and order this. The drinks were also amazing… I ordered the cucumber Tulum Rita and the cantarito. The waiters have such great service even when we went almost close to closing time. We will definitely be back!
