I’ve been here many times and everything I’ve tried is Absolutely delicious and full of flavor! I highly recommend the Malai kofta. Service is excellent and polite. Definitely a must try, especially if you are vegetarian or vegan!

Stopped by Tulsi while in San Antonio. The samosas and Hakka noodles were excellent—flavorful and well-prepared. However, the Manchurian, ordered medium spicy, was unexpectedly very spicy, and the Manchurian balls themselves were rubbery rather than soft. Overall, the dining experience was average.

One of the best Chole bhature we’ve had in a long time! The food was fresh, perfectly spiced, and tasted truly authentic. Every dish was flavorful and comforting. Service was warm and quick, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. A must-visit for anyone who loves vegetarian Indian cuisine. If you’re visiting San Antonio you should give this a try. Good Luck

Great place for some casual dining. Next to Desi brothers indian grocery. Had gobi chilling garlic at hot level. It was superb. Naan was soft and puffy. Had veg masala curry at hot level. Felt it to be more spicy than the gobi. Served with rice *included), but the curry had mo gravy.

I recently visited Tulsi on a weekday when it wasn’t too busy. The food was absolutely delicious! Although they specialize in North Indian cuisine, the flavors were spot on for my South Indian palate. I highly recommend this place for a delightful dining experience.

We visited Tulsi for their weekend lunch buffet and were genuinely impressed. For just $16.99 for adults and $9.99 for kids, the menu was generous and delicious. Highlights included:

Chicken wings & BBQ chicken – smoky, tender, and flavorful
Goat curry – rich and perfectly spiced
Gobi Manchurian & onion pakora – crispy and kid-favorate.
Chicken biryani, noodles, veg fried rice, naan, plain rice – all fresh and well-prepared
Dahi bhara – cool, creamy, and perfectly balanced
Firni & gulab jamun – sweet endings that hit the spot

The restaurant was clean and welcoming, and every dish tasted fresh. My kids especially loved the pakoras and noodles. Highly recommend Tulsi for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors in a relaxed buffet setting.

I recently visited Tulsi Fine Dine for their weekend buffet. The restaurant was busy but not crowded, providing a lively atmosphere without feeling too packed. Given that San Antonio lacks a variety of good Indian restaurants, Tulsi stands out as one of the better options, although it does not fully qualify as fine dining. The ambiance, however, is elevated compared to many other Indian eateries in the city, with tasteful decor and a welcoming vibe.

The buffet offered a decent variety of dishes, though the dessert menu was limited to just kheer. While the selection was singular, the taste of the kheer was enjoyable. Most of the dishes in the buffet were delicious, with the lamb curry being particularly flavorful. The garlic chicken appetizer and samosa chaat were also a highlight, bursting with savory goodness.

However, there were some notable drawbacks. Despite the restaurant’s busy status, the naan was never refilled until I specifically requested it. The few leftover naans in the container were crisp and dry. Another issue was the fly hovering around the food, which is a significant turn-off and raises concerns about hygiene. Additionally, the food in the buffet containers was not warm, detracting from the overall dining experience.

On a positive note, the service at Tulsi Fine Dine was excellent, with attentive staff ready to assist. With some improvements like better food temperature control, regular food refills, and addressing the fly issue this place has the potential to become a top choice for Indian cuisine in San Antonio.

Despite the few drawbacks, the quality of the food and the overall experience make it worth a visit.

Below average , if you are south indian you will completely regret the experience, i have ever seen a resturant that serve the pulao with the taste of tumeric rice. The jalebis is soggy . Not even a single dish is impressive
