We went for a ride to get some ice cream. We wanted to try something new and we ended up here. Speaking of new, this place had some unique flavors and the ice cream was delicious. I found the staff to be friendly and engaging. When we were here, the line was getting pretty long, but the staff kept an upbeat attitude and kept the line moving. If you’re in the area, this is definitely a good place to stop for some tasty ice cream treats.
The only knock is that the parking can be a little bit rough. I ended up parking way in the back and discovered there is actually a hiking trail so if you want to burn off some of the calories from the ice cream, you just enjoyed, this is the place for you…

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tulmeadow Farm Store, and I must say, it was an absolute delight for the senses. The variety of flavors offered is truly remarkable. Each scoop is a work of art, lovingly crafted to perfection. Whether you’re a traditionalist or an adventurer in the realm of taste, there’s something for everyone. From Chocolate Chocolate Chips that bursts with creamy richness, to innovative flavors like Mocha Chocolate chips that tantalize the palate with a perfect balance of Sweet and coffee, every choice is a journey in itself.
What truly sets this ice cream shop apart is the quality of their ingredients. You can taste the difference in every bite – the authentic, natural flavors shine through without any artificial aftertaste.
The place is really nice and you can feel that you are in the farm. Overall I really this place.

This farm stand is super delightful. There is a store and an ice cream window. They have all sorts of flowers and plants out front. Walking in, I was greeted by a friendly employee. They had all sorts of items; ice cream, ice cream sandwiches, handmade soaps, jewelery, honey, maple syrup, candy, sauces, fruits, veggies, milk, eggs, lollipop, chocolate, meats, and various accessories. The store gave me that friendly small town vibe. The owners, The Tullers, have been farming on this land since 1768!
I specifically went in for the ice cream; they had so many flavors to choose from. I had the m&m cookie and graham cracker ice cream sandwiches, the cookies were chewy and the ice cream was super creamy. I also had the pint of Ube (purple potato) boba ice cream; the ice cream was so smooth and creamy, the flavor of ube was light and delicious, the boba was hard and chewy. I think I’d like it more without the boba; I did notice they had the Ube and chocolate chip version I might try out next. I am looking forward to going back to get some more ice cream because they were so good and had so many flavors to try. I like that they experiment and have unique flavors. Also, I love to support small local businesses, especially when they produce quality items. There is a walking trail onsite. First, take a hike then get yourself an ice cream treat, it’s a no brainer haha!

Whenever I’m stressed I take a trip out to Simsbury to Tulmeadow Farm Store. Not only can I get some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had, but the folks are friendly & it’s a nice place to just sit & chill & eat your ice cream. Any time someone comes to visit, we take them to Tulmeadow & we’ve never had a complaint. Definitely check them out if you haven’t already!

Beautiful delicious authentic ice cream made from fresh milk. So much variety as well. Tried a few flavors all of them superb. Pumpkin biscoff was very good.

Tulmeadow offers homemade ice cream with a variety of classic flavors as well as some unique options. I tried the pumpkin and the spiced Mexican dark chocolate, and both were creamy and flavorful (you can definitely taste the spice!). It’s a bit more on the expensive size (~$21 for a regular size in a waffle cone and a milkshake) but the portion seemed fair & the ice cream was really great.

Somewhat conflicted review. The flavors are unique and the ice cream itself was great. Had the Spicy Peach with Tajin for instance. We found this sign unnecessarily mean and pointless. If there is another way to take this, please let me know. Otherwise, we can celebrate America without being a jerk about it.

Amazing flavor choices, amazing texture, amazing everything. About $7 for my double-scoop come I tried black raspberry Oreo – and tangerine milk chocolate. I wish I had had the stomach to try more flavors this day because they also had red raspberry chocolate chip and an interesting sounding miso flavor I would love to try. My friend who brought me is a local and said this place has been a gem for years and I 100% understand why!

This is one of those places you can only find near farmlands. Located in the historic district of West Simsbury, Tulmeadow has been serving literal generations of summertime ice cream eaters from the surrounding area. The ice cream here is creamy, smooth, and so flavorful you’ll temporarily be transported to what can only be described as nirvana. Yes… it’s really that good.
I went in a nondiscript afternoon (nearly evening), and watched as the line of frozen delicacy seekers never decreased in length. In fact, it only seemed to increase as more people joined.
There is a farm store attached, but I didn’t go in there. I should have, and may indeed do so the next time I pass by.

We regularly get our ice cream there, but the seasonal vegetables are wonderful! This trip we got to look at the amazing shapes of gourds!
