Went for the all you can eat fish fry and what a huge disappointment and waste of money! The waitress seemed inconvenienced and couldn’t even be bothered to wipe off the dirty table we were seated at; the salad bar was basically a bowl full of lettuce cores, the fish was so greasy it was almost inedible which also served as a swimming pool for my fries which were under cooked to begin with. The most positive thing I can say about a $40 dinner was that the water was drinkable. We will NOT be back to spend hard earned money.

Friday Night Fish Fry was AMAZING! Fresh Battered Perch Good Homemade Tarter Sauce. Salad Bar was NOT Handicap Accessible Very Tight Squeeze to make a salad but overall VERY GOOD. I will return and Highly Recommend Fish Fry. 6:30pm and not crowded

Very enjoyable visit. Old classic meals such as beef and potatoes with gravy, liver and onions. Maybe not for everyone, but i enjoy something other than the chain restaurants. Quiet seating, bar seating. Not fancy. Fair prices, daily specials. Tuesday night drawing for money, anyone can throw in.

This restaurant/bar has a typical Wisconsin bar atmosphere. We went on a Friday night for their fish fry and was unimpressed! First the waitress forgot our appetizer completely, and to top it off my walleye was FULL of bones, so much so that I could barely eat it. If you are going here, avoid the cod and walleye and just go with the perch which doesn’t typically have that many bones.

First time there. Food was beyond great. Sat at the bar and ordered right away. Table waiting was around half an hour.

Came with some coworkers for lunch. I ordered the open face roast beef with gravy sandwich. Flavor was fine, but a very small portion. Only half a slice of standard white bread…really? Definitely not what I was expecting. Service was also fine, but not great. Only time they checked in was to leave the bill. Not sure if I’ll return.

The dinner special prime rib sandwiches were very good and reasonably priced. Our server was excellent. There was a family birthday party going on in the back. It is however, a dive bar. The over-served woman yelling profanities at the bar during the dinner hour and the dingy interior took away from the otherwise pleasant dining.
