I was excited to try Tugs because we have heard so much about this little bar and grill. Unfortunately, after stopping by there and giving it a try, I must say that it was very disappointing. The female bartender was very unfriendly and acted like we inconvenienced her for wanting to order food. The fish was greasy and indercooked and we just felt like we were not welcomed there. Maybe it we just caught them on a bad day, but I really was hoping this could be a regular stop for us.

Riding out to Dodgeville, we stopped at Tug’s. We absolutely will return! Love the atmosphere. We only got a drink each during our stop, but the drinks were delicious.

Stopped on our way across the state, based on its google rating, and we’re so glad we did. I had the chicken bacon ranch wrap, and my husband had the ribeye sandwich and fries. Service was quick and the food was excellent.

There was a couple that was filling in for the bartender/cook. They were amazing! They were so fun to talk to and our food cooked to perfection! We stopped here on a random motorcycle ride and will be going back!!!

I did not eat but the food looked very good. The bartender is also the cook so they count on it not being busy. No tap beer. There are no tables in the main bar area, just the bar and two pool tables. There is a back room but doesn’t look like it gets much use. There is a nice outside seating area. 3.50 for spotted cow. And the AC is ice cold.
