This place has been here for ages and the fish is the reason. Unlike other fish and chip shops, their food tastes freshly fried, not bitter or excessivly greasy because they use fresh frying oil. The hush puppies are wonderfully crisp on the outside and dense on the inside. Their house-made tartar sauce is the best I’ve ever had and their prices are super reasonable. I love this small business and highly recommend the Row Boat family meal.

Always seen this place but finally got the chance to try it. Fish and chips are so crispy, even after I brought the leftovers home it was still crunchy! The sauce is very good too – it tastes unique compared to other tar tar sauce. Very nice owners adds the cherry on top!

Came in at 3pm on a Saturday and was greeted by a very nice couple that were quick to help me order. I waited about 10 minutes for a 2 piece fish order and was more than satisfied with it. I needed to season my meal a little with some salt but the hot fish and crispy fries were really good. The batter on the fish was light and without salt I could really taste the fish. The fires were also pretty good too as they were hot and crispy. Very lucky to have stumbled upon this place and will try to visit more often.

I enjoyed the fry, batter crunchy, prawns nice and meaty. The fish could’ve been a little firmer but overall I enjoyed it. Lumpia was small and fries slightly overcooked I missed the Hawaiian lumpia I need to find a spot.

This used to be my “go to” for fish and chips. As of lately, the food has gone downhill. The fried fish was mostly batter. Barely had any fish so basically paid $35 for fried batter. Quite disappointed.

I have been going to this restaurant for several years. The woman at the counter is always lukewarm. But the last time I went in, she was hostile rude, and threw my receipt at me. This was the second time she was beyond courteous. I ordered two pieces of fish with onion rings and four prawns. It used to be $17. Now it’s $25 and some change. So I was surprised when she said 25 and I said why is it costing so much? she grabbed the receipt and began pointing at the prices so there’s no more combo meals. So I said I just wanted to know why the price was so high. I wasn’t expecting that. Her response was to throw the receipt at me that will be the last $25 and change I spend there. I always tell my children we work hard for our money. We should be respected when we spend it. That was just beyond respect and there was somebody else at the counter when she did it. So she just doesn’t care. So I don’t care to do business there anymore. Captains fish and chip is available Louisiana fried chicken has good fish and so does Rey’s.

Huge portions! I got the 3 peace fish and chips and 1 peace would have been plenty! The fish was very fishy but was really good! Fries were from frozen.
