Tugboat is a hidden gem in El Paso located close by the Navy and Marines Reserve Center. The inside has a unique boat theme, mixed in with an Asian flare. There are posters of all kinds of seafood in the hall, and a nice indoor waterfall.
The menu boasts all kinds of great Fish & Chips items, AND additionally, sushi dishes! We went in for lunch – the fish & chips is one of the best I’ve had (in my top two). We ordered some gyoza as well. I was happy because there was very good coleslaw (top 5 in my experience), very good tartar sauce, Heinz malt vinegar, and soy sauce!
Looking forward to going back to try out the sushi menu!

We went around 7pm, we were the only customers to dine in at the time, but the environment was still warm and welcoming. Awesome decor! Food was very fresh and really good. We ordered the sampler seafood platter and catfish plate.
We also ordered for delivery a few days later on Postmates. The menu items are $5 pricier on the app just keep that in mind, but it arrived and was still just as good as the dine in experience. Portion size for the price is great. Definitely recommend.

This was my second visit to Tugboat Fish and Chips in El Paso and once again they delivered a five star experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with kindness and professionalism. You can tell they care about their guests.
My food was cooked perfectly and served with attention and care. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The service and quality made this visit even better than the first.

Love the fish and prawns!! Not greasy, great flavor. Usually order either the mushrooms or zucchini, sometimes both- great to take home and nibble. Fast service , usually go through drive through, inside restaurant, it’s small but clean and staff friendly. Would definitely recommend!!

Pleasantly surprised and delighted with our orders. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained. Our food came out fast and the taste was great. I was surprised at the the crispness of the fish. I look forward to going back in the future.

I will never understand why this place is empty all the time. It’s so good. The prices are very reasonable. I have eaten here a couple times and it’s delicious everytime. The staff is so nice and sweet.
