One of West Virginia’s best kept secrets
I learned about Biscuit world on recent trips to West Virginia. Until this visit, I had never visited or eaten at one of these locations. There seems to be at least one in every town. There are over 70 of these restaurants with many of them in WV. I have eaten at four of these locations on this trip alone and have always been pleased. This visit was not any different. It is located in a stand-alone building next to a Walmart. There is plenty of parking in front and adjacent to the site. You order at the counter and get a number that allows them to bring your food to the table. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner but I very much like their breakfast. Their biscuits are very good. The tea is excellent and their eggs are cooked to order. A classic breakfast is about $5.29 and you get 2 eggs made to order and your choice of bacon, sausage or ham, and toast or a buttermilk biscuit. It is a good amount of food at a price. The staff was very efficient and friendly. The dining room was a mix of booths and tables. The restaurant was clean. The food came out quickly and was delicious. I would definitely recommend this to my fellow travelers who are hungry and visiting the Buckhannon area.
