Ordered 2 big tutors and got 2 small tators. paid 25 bucks for this! And there’s barely anything in the box! Do better! First time going back to this store after they forgot about my order for an hour, and still tried to give me cold food. We won’t be back

Tudor’s Biscuit World in Kanawha City is a true West Virginia gem. There’s nothing quite like starting your morning with a hot, buttery biscuit piled high with eggs, bacon, sausage, or even fried apples. Their breakfast is hearty, homemade, and consistently delicious—just like Grandma used to make.

The staff here are always friendly and welcoming, and even when it’s busy (which it often is, because it’s that good), they keep the line moving with a smile. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing something to go, the service is quick and the food always hits the spot.

My go-to is the Thundering Herd or the Ron—can’t go wrong with either. It’s comfort food that feels like home, and no visit to the Kanawha Valley feels complete without a stop at Tudor’s.

Great food at great prices, with a warm welcome. The workers make you feel like family by saying things like “Good Morning Sweetie!” For West Virginias who move out of state, many claim Tutors as one of the first places they visit upon returning for a visit. Tutors is best known for its breakfast offerings, specializing in home style biscuits. But they also serve homestyle dinner meals at lunch time like: baked steak, meatloaf, country fried steak, roast beef sandwich, and mashed potatoes and gravy. I have had nearly all of these and they are all good!

If you want UNsweet tea you need to be exceptional clear about it as most people in this area order sweet tea. On more than one occasion I have been given sweet tea when I asked for unsweetened tea.

The drive through is very popular and is always busy. Tutors is a chain restaurant; There is Tutors another location nearby in Kanawha City. Some friends and I agree that this Tutors location constantly offers food at a higher quality than the Kanawha City location. This Tutors shares the building with Gino’s pizza and subs.

My Ole lady is originally from West Virginia and she absolutely loves this place. I had it once before.

We went here for breakfast this morning before hanging out with a friend before coming back to Indiana.

Service was awesome. Food was pretty food. Biscuits lack a little something. Still very good, but think it’s missing something. Sausage gravy was good. I’m not a big fan of Sausage gravy but was really good.

Great customer service. Highly recommend.

Order 3 sides of bacon which is 3 pieces a piece and only got 6 pieces bacon all put into one bag for my 3 sides and the biscuit to go with it is rock hard. Worst food I’ve prob ever gotten from any restaurant

I just went to Tutors; I had lunch there for a while and was excited to go. I ordered a hotdog with everything, because they have the best hotdogs. Instead what I got was (see picture)… I don’t usually write bad reviews but this was bad. The hotdog bun was soaked, there is lettuce on it (well I did say everything ‍♀️), I don’t know what else is on it because I didn’t want to dig any further to see. The fries, while hot were cooked in oil that wasn’t skimmed off, leaving what I call oil dirt. I love Tutor’s food, but it will be a long time before I got back. Today’s meal was fit for my dog, because she the only one who wanted it.

Two kids wanted chicken strips and fries. They were out of fries, tots and chicken strips. They only had two hash brown patties left so two kids got that the other kids were out of luck. The food tasted good but really the only choice we had was sausage gravy and biscuits.

Manager was rude to me. Accused me of yelling at waitress. I did not yell at waitress I asked how long my order was gonna take and I was the only one in the drive through and all I got was a BLT. I had an appointment I couldn’t be late. I’ll not eat be eating at this one any more. Food is not good and always cold and not worth wasting your money. I’ll take my business to Suzi’s. If I wanted to wait for 20 minutes at a drive thru window, I could have went inside at IHOP and had breakfast a lot quicker. This location needs to get their act together.
