Tudor’s Biscuit World in Kanawha City is a true West Virginia gem. There’s nothing quite like starting your morning with a hot, buttery biscuit piled high with eggs, bacon, sausage, or even fried apples. Their breakfast is hearty, homemade, and consistently delicious—just like Grandma used to make.
The staff here are always friendly and welcoming, and even when it’s busy (which it often is, because it’s that good), they keep the line moving with a smile. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing something to go, the service is quick and the food always hits the spot.
My go-to is the Thundering Herd or the Ron—can’t go wrong with either. It’s comfort food that feels like home, and no visit to the Kanawha Valley feels complete without a stop at Tudor’s.
If you want UNsweet tea you need to be exceptional clear about it as most people in this area order sweet tea. On more than one occasion I have been given sweet tea when I asked for unsweetened tea.
The drive through is very popular and is always busy. Tutors is a chain restaurant; There is Tutors another location nearby in Kanawha City. Some friends and I agree that this Tutors location constantly offers food at a higher quality than the Kanawha City location. This Tutors shares the building with Gino’s pizza and subs.
We went here for breakfast this morning before hanging out with a friend before coming back to Indiana.
Service was awesome. Food was pretty food. Biscuits lack a little something. Still very good, but think it’s missing something. Sausage gravy was good. I’m not a big fan of Sausage gravy but was really good.
Great customer service. Highly recommend.
