The gentleman working the front desk of my hotel recommended Tuckers because I didn’t want a chain steakhouse. SO AMAZING! Had a perfect medium rare filet, loaded potato and salad. Phenomenal service and bartenders made an outstanding dirty martini. Go! Don’t miss it!

Just left there from celebrating my sister’s birthday. Neither hostess were friendly. We had Anna as our server and she was amazing! The food was delicious! Between both hostesses and someone I assume was a manager, they asked us 3 times if they could move our cake off a side table and we said yes every time. There was only one other table being used upstairs when we got there. Finally someone came to take it. When the cake was brought out to be served the hostess came back to tell us a fourth and fifth time that she has been turning people away because she didn’t have that table available. It was very off putting to be asked and told the cake needed to be moved as we are waiting to pay our bill. The food was good, Anna was excellent, but the atmosphere from the hostesses and manager were 0/10. I drove 45 minutes to get there and it was a waste of money and time. I do not plan on going back. I will make sure my family knows it is not a place to celebrate your birthday.

Beautiful neighborhood and a century home turned in a restaurant. Old, clean and comfortable with street views. The bar was full and lively. We were seated in once may have been a living room by the front window. Excellent spot. I ordered the Delmonico steak special, Delmonico steaks are not on the menu. The steak was cooked as ordered. A great selection of steak- hats off to the chef. The salad came immediately and it was fantastic.
Tuckers serves the steak using their own steak sauce. I think it would be better without the sauce, however it was delicious. The baked potato was hot, full of butter and a crispy potato skin- perfect. Cheese cake for dessert, Tucker’s uses gram cracker crust. The cheese cake made for a great ending to a wonderful dinner.

This was one of the tastiest burgers I’ve eaten in a long time. It was huge, seasoned well and cooked to perfection. I didn’t even need fries because the burger was great and it didn’t need anything else. My only complaint was the wait for your food to be served during lunch but it was well worth it. I prefer good food over quick service anytime. I’ve always known Tucker’s had great food and it good to know they still do.

Walk back in time when you enter Tucker’s. A classic throw back steak house and bar. Tried the NY strip, salad and baked potato. All perfectly cooked. Home made dressings. My companions had steak salads that they enjoyed also.

We just stumbled upon this place when we came to town for the Blues game. My wife had the Filet and I had the Ribeye, both were amazing. It was pretty busy, but we only waited a couple of minutes for a table. The service was superb also. If you want a good Steak this is the place.

We kicked off our meal with the delightful Riff Raff dry rub chicken wings! If you’re a wings lover and prefer to keep sauce off your face, this is the perfect choice!
For my main course, I savored the 14 oz bacon-wrapped fillet paired with a loaded baked potato, while Monica indulged in the delicious chicken club and some roasted red pepper soup.
Every bite was fantastic, and honestly, considering the prices, I don’t think you could find a better deal in all of St. Louis! What a joyful dining experience!

Shout out to Miranda the Downtown Tuckers Restaurant manager, her Trainee May and my awesome waitor Bryant. My Petite filet was perfect and really appreciated his great service and how quickly Miranda was able to seat me. May was very nice directing me to my table! The young man who assisted Bryant was also great! What a great pre Thanksgiving day dinner!! Thank you all for making it so enjoyable!!
The Downtown Tuckers and Manchester Tuckers restaurants are my favorites. Downtown has better burgers and Manchester is the only location that serves the Lollychop. The bartenders at Manchester are always excellent and so customer friendly!!! If your new to the Lou, Tuckers is the place you need to try ASAP . You’ll love it!!

The staff that served us where amazing! They made a fantastic team togther and it was evident that they are a natural fit. Both attentive to what was happening as the meal progressed, checking in with being intrusive. It was refreshing to be around authentic people that wanted to provide a great dine-in experience!
