I read good things about Tuckers and took my parent’s for lunch at the Newington, NH location yesterday. It was even better than I expected! The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. I had the turkey sandwich and would definitely recommend! My parents had the French toast with the cinnamon maple butter and the autumn bowl and both were excellent. Thank you, Tuckers for a great experience. Will be back soon!

I’ve been at the other locations and Tucker’s never fails to be fabulous. All the food, sweet or savory, is so flavorful but not over-the-top complicated or showy. It’s just really great food and service. If you get a savory breakfast you have to order a side of the queso chipotle hollandaise. And the pancakes are a MUST! I’ve eaten at probably 100 places that claim to have the best pancakes but Tucker’s is the only place that gets both the texture and flavor both perfect. Our server Makayla and the girl she was training were both lovely.

This was my first visit to a Tuckers. I was pleasantly surprised. Both the service and the food were excellent. Our server gave us adequate time to choose something off the extensive menu and checked in with us an appropriate number of times. The atmosphere is that of a large pancake house so I was not expecting the service and food to be so good.

Expected long wait due to renovations in Dover
I think I can speak for most locals that we are SO HAPPY ihop got replaced with a real respectable breakfast place.
The staff is friendly and respectful
The food was hot and yummy. I had the stake omelet and the hollandaise sauce was AMAZING. very rare to find a rare to find a restaurant that makes great hollandaise sauce
I recommend this place. I’ll be here until the Dover location opens up again!

We’ve always loved the Dover location and had great experiences there, but the new Newington spot is a miss. We were seated quickly, but our waitress (I think her name was Kate) kept speaking to us like we were children, which was really annoying. My fiancé and I are grown adults, and the constant childlike talk was unnecessary. The food was okay, but the space feels small and the vibe is just a modernized, generic restaurant. Overall, the service overshadowed everything else, and we didn’t stay very long because of it.

We love the Tuckers location in Somersworth, NH, so we had to try their brand-new location in Newington. The service was very friendly, and the restaurant has a clean, bright interior. Food was great and we will definitely be back for breakfast or lunch.
If you go for lunch, make sure you allow yourself plenty of time. There is often a wait, especially on weekends or school holidays.

This is my favorite breakfast in the area by a wide margin. I feel like all of my small adjustments and requests get listened to and matter (like specifying how crispy you want something). The food quality is excellent, easily the best biscuit I’ve had since moving north. One of the owners has chatted with me several times and cares a lot about everything being just right.
Overall, this is the kind of place my family would have been over the moon to find when I was growing up. Reliably great food and service at a price that lets you become a regular. Hard to ask for more.

Food was delicious. They clearly care about their ingredients which should always be priority #1. I’ve been to every breakfast place in the Portsmouth area, and this is my new favorite. My only possible critique is that the atmosphere is bland… you can tell it was previously an iHop. Not really a big deal though.

My girlfriend and I were excited to try Tucker’s new location in Newington. We called 30 minutes ahead to secure a reservation for two and were told that arriving more than 10 minutes late would cancel it.
We showed up five minutes early, only to be told, “It’s not a reservation; it’s a waiting list for a reservation.” We were expected to wait an additional 30 minutes past our “reserved” time. This bait-and-switch felt deceptive and completely unprofessional
Skip Tucker’s unless you’re ready to play games with their so-called “reservations.”

Great restaurant. The drop biscuits and sausage gravy is amazing as well as the classic benny. Inside looks amazing and staff were great. Glad they are in the neighborhood, you can tell when people find this spot it will get busy
