The Tuckahoe Inn has a great location just a few minutes away from Ocean City. The parking lot and overflow lots get filled up pretty quickly, but there is more parking on the street. I’d highly recommend making reservations, especially during the summer months. Lots of seating both indoors and out on their large back patio. There are loads of drink choices (full bar); and the food menu is pretty extensive as well. Our party of 11 was seated quickly (with a reservation) and was very well attended to throughout dinner. It’s not cheap, but it’s very well worth it. I’d highly recommend this place for a nice dinner.

Lovely well established restaurant on the water. Enjoy coming around the holidays; fireplaces are lit and the different dining rooms are decorated with lights. Ordered turkey dinner with all of the fixings – absolutely delicious. Came with bread and salad. Finished meal with a key lime pie with Graham cracker crust and meringue topping. From hostess to our server – all were great. Did not feel rushed at all. Wonderful experience overall.

I brought my out of state guest here for dinner on a Sunday. We followed the recommendation to make a reservation in advance and we’re happy we did. They were busy inside and outside. We arrived an hour early and found a band playing on the back patio, so we sat down to enjoy cocktails and appetizers until our reservation time. It was very pleasant and the music was a bonus. Once we ordered our entrees, we found a great variety of items to choose from it was almost to hard to make choice but finally ordered crab cakes. The food was very delicious and the friendly service was outstanding. This is now one of my favorite go to restaurants at the shore. By the way being woman and veteran owned makes it that much better yet.

The food was decent and the atmosphere is nice. We checked online and it said Early Bird dinner until 5pm. We called to verify and they told us 4pm. We rushed to arrive at 3:40 and were told that they had to clear a table. We were seated in an empty dining room at 3:55 and then told that we were too late for Early Bird!

I haven’t been there in years and was very pleased with the food. However, as a senior citizen and my guests were also seniors, I did not appreciate being addressed as “GUYS”! In a first class restaurant like hr Tuckahoe Inn, I would have expected the wait staff to address everyone as sir or mam as a recognition of ‘seniority’ ! From what observed most of the diners at the 5:00 hour were senior citizens. Maybe the ownership needs to gather the personnel and have a training session. Being addressed as ” guys” is okay for Applebee’s, but not in the Tuckahoe Inn!
