Moved to Tuckerton area in September 2025. Tried most of the pizza’s places. Found Tuccillo’s Tomato Pie. Out of this world fantastic! Ingredients are top shelf and the crust is thin and crispy, like it should be. Other tried pizzerias had gummy crusts and gooey cheese. Asked one place for sausage and I got sausage crumbles that were so salty, I had to remove them! Tuccillo’s pizza is so light and tasty, the flavors jump off the pizza pan. They also have great daily dinner specials.

Everyone was so kind and welcoming! The gelato, cookies and cheesecake there are absolutely delicious and I love how aesthetic and neat it is in there! Even offered to make custom desserts and combine the cookie and gelato, also warming the cookie for us! Will definitely return and I highly recommend!

Solid pizza. Went with the original of course, had to get a baseline. The staff here were super friendly, still getting the flow down which was expected since they just opened a few days ago.

The pizza is one of the best in town, how does it compare to the tomato pie titans in Mercer County? It doesn’t quite make the Mount Rushmore yet, but it’s good. I will definitely eat here again and I’m sure it’ll get better as they get more time under their belt and perfect things.

The dough/crust def seemed different than what I’ve had at other tomato pie joints, but I couldn’t put my finger on it.

They offer some items for takeout as well.

Absolutely loved this place! We decided to take an hour drive to try something new. We heard the pizza was delicious. The pizza was fresh, flavorful (the sauce was incredible). The crust was crispy, just how we like it. The setting was clean, inviting, family friendly, old Trenton feel for a pizzeria. I’m from Trenton and know an old fashioned Trenton pie! The owners are great people. Will definitely be back in the future!!!

Thrilled to finally visit this new neighborhood gem after hearing rave reviews. Shared a delicious tomato pie and one of the dinner specials, cavatelli with sweet sausage and an exquisite Alfredo sauce. Service was so warm and pleasant and really enjoyed talking with the Owner who came to check on us at the
end. Nice atmosphere too!

Great service, large portions and kind staff. Tried the Trenton pie, the white pie, and the Margherita pie. All very good and crispy. Take away sauces, meatballs and pasta are available as well. Waiter said they will be serving sandwiches and gelato in the near future as well. Wishing this local family owned business the best of luck. We will be back.

Tuccillo’s Tomato Pies:

Let’s get this out of the way: this is not pizza. Calling it pizza is like calling a Ferrari “just a car.” This is a Trenton-style tomato pie, and it deserves respect. And maybe a standing ovation.

The crust is so thin and crisp it could moonlight as a gourmet chip. The sauce? I’d drink it from a wine glass with my pinky out. It’s that good. And the mozzarella? Perfectly savory and in just the right amount, not a greasy cheese flood, but a classy, flavorful melt that knows its role.

I’ve devoured the sausage and pepper, pepperoni, and traditional tomato pies, and each one hit like a flavor symphony. Then I dipped into the gluten-free lineup. I tried the margarita and the broccoli white pie and even without gluten, these pies slap. Hard.

Michael, the owner, isn’t just making pies… he’s crafting masterpieces. He’s basically the Michelangelo of mozzarella, except instead of painting ceilings, he’s redefining what goes in a box.

You’ll also appreciate the warm and friendly atmosphere inside the restaurant, where we were seated.

If you’re within 50 miles and not eating Tuccillo’s, what are you even doing with your life? Go get a tomato pie. Your taste buds will thank you.

P.S. the pepperoni tomato pie was my favorite… just in case you were wondering.

Love this place!!! My family loves their pies! The margherita pie is our favorite. It always has fresh basil, chunks of fresh garlic, sliced tomatoes, and thin crust. Also, their gelato is outstanding 🙂

The family-owned vibe is also great about Tuccillo’s. The staff is so friendly and the place has a homey feel and is always super clean. Looking forward to trying their dinners and whatever they sell in their refrigerator against the back wall 🙂

Delicious tomato pie with a perfect cheese-to-sauce ratio. We tried the Trenton tomato pie, and the Chippy pie which had mushrooms, garlic, and shallots. The garlic was very balanced with the rest of the flavors and didn’t “repeat” on me for hours afterwards like garlic sometimes does. We couldn’t resist a sorbet and gelato on our way out, which was very good quality. Friendly staff, too.
