The green salsa is soo yummy! Chips tasted great and had the perfect crunch and amount of salt. We got the shrimp bowl, street tacos, and a kids taco. The meat was really buttery and had good flavor. My husband enjoyed the mango salsa. We really enjoyed the Agua Frescas; especially the Jamaica one !! The booth was clean and plant decor was a great ambiance. Will definitely be back and look forward to trying their breakfast options.

The service at Tucan’s was excellent. We ordered the food to go and the waiting time was very quick. From the moment we arrived, the staff was very attentive and friendly. The food is delicious. We ordered tacos, and they had an excellent presentation. And the flavor was amazing — they were absolutely delicious. We would definitely order again.

First visit was excellent. I recommend the Enmoladas. The mole is flavorful, tangy & perfectly seasoned. The 2 salsa are both great, but the green edges out the red just barely. I am anticipating my next visit.

Finally got to come to this amazing place! My parents are regulars, and their favorite server, Gabriel, was supervising today—but he still made sure our table and drinks were perfectly taken care of. The barbacoa and pastor tacos are absolutely the best, and the prices are unbeatable. Highly recommend!

Fantastic! First visit and we were pleasantly surprised. Our waiter Gabriel was so attentive, he brought me another drink before I knew I needed it, ha!! The manager, Pablo, stopped by a couple of times and was also very attentive. Fun vibe. The food was amazingly delicious and plated beautifully! Generally I don’t love Mexican food, but I loved Tucan’s!! Best chips and salsa. We will be back and often to try other dishes. Highly recommend…

One year old restaurant, good location, small but has outside seating. Was not crowded, only two other groups in the restaurant. Very clean, organized, simple but very nice. Service was efficient and correct. My friend had the tacos and l had the enchilada plus chips and the cheese dip. So good. Will return, for sure.

This is me and my wife’s go to spot all the time! Food is great and the service is even better. From ownership to management down to the staff you can tell they want to make sure their customer has a great experience. Pablo the GM is very attentive and the bartender Gabriel never disappoints behind the bar! Even the bus boy Jerry does a great job. Definitely becoming a Katy gem!

Only hope for them to add more vegetarian options with vege protein options like Tofu(Sofritas style in Chipotle) or Beyond ground meat. The vege options were limited with only rice/beans/onions/peppers in all varities. Burrito was ok but not toasted well.
Ambiance is really nice overall and drinks. I will be back given they improve their main course and options.

I’ve been dying to try the tacos from this place, and wow—Gabriel was spot on! Working at the construction site across the street, I finally gave the barbacoa tacos a try, and they are AMAZING. Seriously, so tasty! Can’t wait to come back, and the prices are awesome too. Highly recommend!
