This is a new and improved Tucanos. The new renovation must have put a spark back into this place. Food was great. It was always hot. Salad bar was tasty. The service was top notch. The meat server Manny was above and beyond. Made us feel welcomed.

This place has gone down hill. This was our anniversary/birthday go to. Recently the food quality is poor. We were there for 2 hours and those 2 hours we were served a handful of times. Like every 15 min it seemed like. I remember when the servers would come one after another. We get tired from waiting and just want to go home. It sucks that we pay over $100 for a not so great meal. Not to mention we ordered the Brazilian lemonade in a gallon and there were Roaches in it!!! I wish they change whatever is going on.

I have been going to Tucanos every year for the past 10 or 12 years with a friend from work. We have our annual birthday lunch there. Last two trips, post COVID, we both felt the place has gone down hill. Food was good, but not great. Staff was pleasant but the service was not. Was told we had to wait for our “reserved” table and it was not that the table was not ready, it was due to no host to seat us? I guess the wait staff did not get the instructions on how to walk a guest to a table and hand them a menu. Sorry to say that we will not be going back any time soon.

First time trying this style of restaurant & found it very enjoyable, both in having the ability to control the pace of your dining experience, and the wide variety of meats / selections brought directly to your table or available at an extensive “salad” bar. Only nits on this occasion were due to a server mix-up our group was overlooked for some time after being seated, & also expect a louder than average sound level. As other reviewers have noted, probably not the best location to be out walking about / to your car in the evening hours.

As usual, had a wonderful meal and experience at Tucanos. The service was great, the selection of food was fantastic. Kevin, a meat server, stood out for his friendliness and knowledge about the food served. He was easy to talk to and ask questions.
