I think if you want something more exotic then go here now!!!! This place is amazing! The food is really good not to mention it’s very very well seasoned! This place is also made for everyone! whether its a birthday for someone who is up there in years, or the little kids who don’t want to be here! Plus they have a good salad bar so if you are a vegan then you can also enjoy this place! And if you love meat then you will have a field day here! Fish, Shrimp, Beef, and Chicken is all here! (Not to mention they have the beef all cooked different) So this is a great place to celebrate something or be a one man army! And the service is good, but you might need to wait 8 minutes for water. But they are all super super nice here! (Awni is a G he gave my brother all the pineapple he wanted and is super nice! Kelly is also super nice and kind!) In conclusion this a very nice place to change things up and I really hope you go here to experience this beautiful place and food!

Was in town for a conference and me and group came about 5pm. The young lady serving (blue shirt) we kind enough to explain how everything worked to us newbies, and the guys (red shirts) were pretty steady in swinging by all the tables to offer slices of meats. My personal favorite were the rosemary salmon, chicken parm, and grilled pineapple.
I will say as the evening went on and the tables filled for dinner hour they got much busier but that’s to be expected. My only additional suggestion is that the lemonade they offer are VERY sweet so you might want water to mix with it to dilute it a bit.
I dont go to ABQ often but for a treat with friends, it was a fun experience. A bit $$$, but fun.

What an amazing spot!! Went for a birthday lunch, everything was incredible. Kelly, our waitress, was attentive and kind! After mentioning someone in our group was vegetarian ONCE, she talked to the chef and got a veggie skewer special requested. So sweet!! Awni, one of the grill servers, was thoughtful and compassionate as well! After we said about the vegetarian at the table, he remembered with EVERY round and never offered her meat, even with a restaurant FULL of people and busy tables. We will 1,000% be returning! Thank you for making it such a pleasant afternoon, y’all were amazing. Couldn’t stop smiling!!

Yo it’s a good spot to get quality steaks. I was at the bar and got the Bacon wrapped sirloin skewers a delicious light meal. The bartender was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely geared towards a younger crowd as far as the vibe goes. Thankfully the music was at a reasonable level and well lit. Perfect for a date or special occasion.

Food was good but not what I expected for Thanksgiving. We got sat near the bar so we were usually the last to get any meats brought to our table.. the check in process was crazy. No buzzer to hold when your table is ready they take your name when you wlakin the door and then look for you or yell your name when your table is ready. The salad bar was great and everything on it was fresh and tasty. Just disappointed in the turkey part. Our first time eating out at a restaurant for Thanksgiving in 18 years.. the manager was great very friendly. His customer service was great he even told the people coming to the tables with food to plz start on our side for a few rounds. Super sweet thank you for the experience!!!!

I insisted on visiting Tucanos instead of the other major chain churrascaria in town. This was a mistake.
My original review said it must have been an off-day but after reading other recent reviews it seems that this place is going downhill.
On the positive side: the majority of the staff was helpful and attentive. They did their best to address our concerns.
Negative experience: there was not enough meat to go around. The beef skewers seemed empty and at least one server in particular seemed to go out of her way to avoid our table. I don’t know what was going on the kitchen but even though it was an hour past opening there was very little meat being brought to our table.
The selections were underwhelming. The teriyaki beef and tuna were tough and dry. A lot of pineapple on skewers but hardly any beef.
No other churrascaria I’ve been to has made me feel that I have to chase or insist that the server bring picanha to the table. Even though i paid for two rodizio meals it was meager pickins all around. Would not recommend. My wife and I were very disappointed.
This was unfortunate because I was the one who recommended this place to her after having visited it over a decade ago and having a nice meal then.

My friend and I went there last Tuesday ,the food was excellent, and the salad bar was so fresh and delicious, and offered so many different options, all the staff and servers were excellent always friendly and smiling. I go out to eat often at different places and this is the first time I’ve been very impressed with all the staff. I will definitely be going there more often. It’s so worth it.

Go to FOGO DE CHÃO, spend the extra $20 for a great experience. From walking in we had the rudest greeting, to the point he tossed the menu because of the attitude he had. Waited longer than expected for the meats to come to our table until a manager helped us out. The environment around doesn’t help either, DT has really changed for the bad. Will definitely not be coming back.

In short, they should be closed for meat freshness inspection. We tried many Brazilian BBQ. This one in NW, is the worst of the worst.
First, by looking at the first “New York strip” as they claimed. Any freshness and meat juicyness?
By following, I found the reason. What are we expecting for one cook serving a dozen of tables? A wall of low-end grill , they charged 37 per adult. Why would I hit this “unlimited” bbq rather than Chick fil a or KFC? They gave u one small piece per few minutes. What a joke.
Third, I read many restaurants. The meat served here is 100% off, at least being expired for few days or being refrozen and took out for the customer. This is what you see from the third picture -strongly seasoned teriyaki and cheese beef – because they want to cover the freshness. The pork is disgusting.
Fourth, veges are randomly picked with low quality. The only fruit I can pick are honeydew melon and few grape.
Fifth, I report the issue to their waiter but no manager stopping by to solve the issue.
Surprisingly, there are a decent flow of customers keeping coming in. I was wondering where this 4.2 points coming from with this low-end quality of everything? There are many kids and family. If they ate these type of meat and food, couldn’t helping thinking they will get diarrhea.
I cherish freshness than any thing such service, food tastiness, and atmosphere.
I will reflect this to city of Albuquerque.

Amazing experience! The meats were perfectly seasoned and cooked, with the picanha and lamb being standout favorites. The service was excellent, and the salad bar added a fresh balance to the meal. Worth every penny.. Staff was friendly and Manager was approachable and personable.. Definitely recommend it..
