This was our first time here and it was amazing! They got us in so fast and the service was wonderful. Kyra was our waitress and she was phenomenal… our drinks were always full! I have a gluten allergy and Kaleb was so knowledgeable and told me every single meat that contains gluten or may be contaminated. He was so nice and helpful! We’ll definitely be back

My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing and, unfortunately, the worst I have ever had at a Brazilian steakhouse.
After being seated, I waited approximately 30 minutes before the first cut of meat was served, which indicates a serious failure in service organization and operational flow. For a rodízio-style restaurant, this level of delay is unacceptable.
When the meats finally arrived, the situation only got worse. Most of the meats were dry, and some were served cold. The skewers brought to the table consistently contained end pieces, leftovers, and overcooked portions, showing a complete lack of quality control and respect for the customer.
I have been dining at Brazilian steakhouses for over 25 years, both in Brazil and in many parts of the United States and around the world. I can say with full confidence that this was by far the worst Brazilian steakhouse experience I have ever had.
The service was poor, disorganized, and inattentive, and the overall experience did not meet even the most basic standards expected from a Brazilian steakhouse — in terms of meat quality, temperature, cuts served, and service consistency.
This restaurant needs to significantly and urgently improve both its service and food quality. In its current state, I do not recommend it

We went here for my birthday and it was above and beyond. To start the Brazilian lemonades were amazing and super flavorful. The main course was spectacular with the buffet options unique, classic, and flavorful all at once. When our awesome meat servers JJ and Julius came around there was a ton of options for meat. The teriyaki steak and brisket were my favorite but my vegetarian sister liked the garlic vegetables. Also the grilled pineapple was another spotlight of the night. Again a huge thank you to JJ and Julius they helped a lot and were very patient with us. And the vibe of the restaurant is super cool with a rainforest and definitely Brazilian feel. Huge thanks to the crew that brought me an awesome birthday ice cream and sang in Portuguese. Tucanos really made the night special.

I hadn’t been to Tucanos in the longest time, and I forgot how much I love pineapple, cheesy bread, and chicken hearts! The food was great and the service was excellent! In a time with horrible service, Ana and Sara were a breath of fresh air. They made the dining experience really fun and enjoyable. Felipe was a joy as well and kept all the favorites coming. I hope to have them as servers again next time!

I arrived late in the afternoon, well before the dinner rush and was initially told by the hostess and the waitress that a table right in the middle of the other guests and 3′ from the start of the salad bar, was literally the only available table. (Less than 20% of the tables were occupied and I couldn’t choose even the empty table adjacent to that one). I just felt super weird as a solo diner. I hated to be a “Karen”, but I ask if I could speak to a manager or if they could tell me when another section of the restaurant would open up, if I came back later. Hostess advised the manager was in a meeting and not to be disturbed and neither her or the waitress had any idea when another section would open up. I messaged on Facebook and got a response from Aaron the manager right away. He was apologetic and invited me back. Greated me warmly and seated me in the next section that was opening up. He was extremely accommodating and the meal went wonderfully. Kudos to Aaron for providing exceptional guest recovery.

Gus was the best! So friendly and accommodating! He really helped make our dinner amazing. We love Tucanos. Garlic Sirloin and Passion Fruit limeades!! Our favorite spot for birthdays and any celebration.

I’ve been to Tucanos in Orem many times (including before the move to University Mall/Place). It’s my favorite of the churracos around, and even any I’ve been to outside of Utah. Based on convenience, I went with a couple friends to the SLC location. It was great. The waiter was fantastic.
The servers were just ok this day. We went for late lunch, and though we were asked and made our specific requests, those were mostly either not remembered or ignored, particularly the meat temp level(s).
We were also told at some point they were “closing our section”, which was confusing, because we couldn’t see any other “sections” open. Just kind of a vague and weird announcement.
I had to rate lower than I expected I would based on this. And honestly I’m still giving the benefit of the doubt based on my very good history with Tucanos in my many other visits.

We had such a fantastic experience at Tucanos, and our meat server, Stacey, truly made the night exceptional! She was attentive, friendly, and brought such great energy to our table. Stacey made sure we got to try all of our favorite cuts and kept them coming perfectly cooked and fresh.
Her timing was excellent — always checking in at just the right moments — and she was so knowledgeable about the different meats and recommendations. You can tell she genuinely cares about giving guests the best experience possible.

My husband and I went there for valentines dinner. The service (Crystal) and food were awesome. Wish the atmosphere hadn’t been so loud since they sat us right next to a group of 40 people. Also, no one was clear on what was offered on the Valentines meal so we never got our dessert or rose.
