We ordered online, so we didn’t get the full experience of a sit-down meal here, but the staff was friendly when we picked up our order, and the food was ready on time. It was absolutely delicious and authentic! I ordered the tamale and it was so flavorful! There was just enough masa without making the tamale dry. The flautas were so good topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and plenty of cotija cheese. My husband ordered the tampiquena. The skirt steak was flavorful and the enchilada verde was spicy. This may become my go-to place when I’m craving Mexican food.

Some of the best legit Mexican I’ve found in Louisiana. Wide menu of all the favorites and nice casual atmosphere.

I went in for my first time, for a breakfast burrito. What a great job on a authentic burrito, served piping hot. Excellent tortilla packed with scrambled eggs diced ham beans and rice and a light cheese. The green salsa verde was very good. The red salsa was slightly peppery, but very good also.

I’ve eaten here a LOT! GREAT EVERY TIME! I’ve tried everything on the menu and it’s all good. Authentic and fresh. Homemade salsa that tastes a little different each time, but always good. I tend to gravitate towards the tacos, tostadas, flautas or enchiladas verde as favorites. With a group, you gotta get the queso! Block of melted greatness served in a cast iron skillet.

Food was okay but service was very slow waited more than half hour for order to be served.

The best authentic Mexican food in the entire city of Baton Rouge. Queso with chrizo is amazing. The whole fried talapia is always perfectly cooked and seasoned. Horchita is the best drink to have.

Restaurant & bathroom were clean. Food & handmade tortillas were served hot & fresh. Salsas were not too spicy, but still good. Agua de melon was very tasty. Waitress rushed us a bit to order, but other than that, good service. Actual authentic mexican food.

Came from Texas to watch my first LSU football game. Stopped here before hitting the road back home… this place is amazing.
This is Rio Grande Valley-level of taquerias. If this was in Austin or San Antonio, it would be on types of lists.
Salsas are on point, everything was super fresh. They have some Honduran items on the menu as well. Their papusas were excellent and I cleaned up on their Platanitos Fritos.
They had the best crispy tripas I have ever had. I would 100% recommend this place to people looking for a great taqueria in Baton Rouge.

Over priced tacos, costing $2.50 per taco which doesn’t come with enough cilantro or chopped union which gives it that nice taste. Taste is good but not worth the $2.50 a taco. 6 tacos with a drink and extra cilantro was 25 bucks, service wasn’t all that good also the only good thing was the taste of the tacos if not I would have rated it 1 star.
