I had excellent vibes from the online appearance. Instead, a bad experience overall. The place is dirty to the point of being closed by the city; external and display windows are difficult to see through. The floor is covered in stains, and it hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. Tables, too, were covered in other people’s food remains. What I could see of the kitchen was uninviting. I ordered Zeppole, a dessert. I’m Italian. Zeppole should be made of a sweet choux pastry. These are made from pizza dough, sweetened only by sugar powder and “chocolate” on top. Like eating the crust of a pizza with sugar on top. The guy was kind, but he missed washing his hands between clearing a table, serving a client at his table, managing money, and working on my dough…
It is the worst place I have had the misfortune to go to in a long time.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this pizzeria for several years. I used to drive all the way from Fort Lauderdale to Hallandale just for their pizza, because it was my absolute favorite in all of Miami.
But the last two times I ordered, the dough was disappointing — and today it was simply awful.
The crust was so dry and hard that it felt like I was eating a cracker. Their dough used to be soft, fresh, and tasted like real homemade bread. This time it tasted like something store-bought, as if it came from the nearest Walmart. Even the smell was off — normally the aroma drives me crazy in the car, but today I could tell something was wrong before I even opened the box.
When I looked at the pizza, even the edges were dry and overbaked. Eating it was almost impossible — it felt like the pizza was made on dried-out croutons. I’ve never had such an unpleasant taste from this place before.
For the price I paid — almost $40 — this was a huge disappointment. I truly hope the quality returns to what it used to be.

Let me start by saying that the customer service here was just outstanding and very caring. From the moment we got there and we were outside the door, Bura (I know I’m spelling this wrong, sorry!) came and greeted us and invited us in. He took our order and I wanted a yummy Philly Steak and they delivered. My family ordered pizza and everyone was happy. Great food and great service. Highly recommend ❤️

This place is exceptional!! It was my first time trying it with family as we were on a vacation. It was definitely one of the best pizza places around the area. It tastes good and was super clean. The cheese seems authentic and the dough is crispy and thin. You can tell it’s not made in a normal oven! The calzones are incredible too!!
We stayed at a resort for 3 days and we ended up getting food from here in all those 3 days! I highly recommend!

Great takeout option. Picked up a meat lovers pizza to go, and it was fantastic. The crust was just right, and they didn’t skimp on the toppings—plenty of meat and cheese. It stayed hot and fresh, even after the drive home. Will definitely grab one again!

I love this place. My favorite pizza place. The dough is fantastic. The sauce so yummy. I’ve been ordering for a few years now and tasted several menu items. Love the meatballs. I’ve tried enough pizzas, calzones, strombollis, and toppings and add on varieties and have always been satisfied. The wings are juicy and so flavorful. The desserts are yum, even the mini cookies are like bigger cookie crisps. They’re quick with delivery, food is always hot and fresh and delicious and the service over the phone and in person is wonderful. Great date place too. It’s a charming place in a nice location. I’ll also order directly from their site so I can get points and it’s cheaper than third party plus they sometimes offer deals too.
So thankful to the team at Tu Pizza. Coming from NY, it’s been hard finding a pizza I like…. and I LOVE your pizza and everything else.

We were regulars at Tu Pizza, until about a year ago when we found the quality of the food was not the same. Recently my husband and I wondered over the restaurant and I did some review research, we found out the restaurant was under new ownership and the reviews were once again superb. We went, we ate, we LOVED IT!!! We always order the marguerite with pepperoni, well done. It was divine. So was the service. Keep it up!!

A little Italian pizza gem tucked back in the left corner pocket of this little strip mall. The staff is friendly and the pizza is really good. I love the store decor of pizza paddles with various pizza quotes. If you are in the area it is worth stopping by and enjoying eating in the small dining , outside in the courtyard, or carry out.

Will never buy food from them again
Last month spent 62 dollars on large pizza and cheese calzones 3
desserts
Large pizza was insulting, small tiny pieces that were just sitting in a large box. Told owner that I was shocked on the size of this large Margarita pie
He made excuses. Calzone was very good filled with ricotta and mozzarella
Last night ordered 2 cheese calzones
I called him when we cut it and said where is the ricotta
It was empty
I don’t pay over $100 for inconsistent food prep
He lost me ,my family and many others in my complex
He could have cared less about my last lust orders of food

It’s my second time in this cafe. The first experience was great, I was super hungry and enjoyed the Stromboli a lot. Since that time I’ve been wanting to visit this place again, but I came on Monday and it was closed..( today, Friday, I came again. Google maps say it opens at 11:30, i came at 12 and it was still closed. In several minutes a woman with loose long hair opened the pizza place. I was watching her thinking that maybe now she’ll pick up her hair in a ponytail at least for the time when she’s in the kitchen, but that didn’t happen. I mean I haven’t found a hair in my dish, but I just think that by the rules of kitchen employees should cover their hair.
Another thing that I didn’t really like is that the Stromboli itself wasn’t that delicious as I tried before. The ingredients were cold inside, only the bread was hot. It was like as If the oven didn’t warm up enough yet. The guy the cook said the dish would be ready in 8-10 minutes but it really took him more. It’s ok, I understand the process can go longer than expected. Another moment is that I entered the cafe when they just opened so I expect the tables to be clean, not with crumbs…
All in all, the atmosphere there was quite nice. I liked when they turned on the music in the cafe.
