I have a love affair with this restaurant. It feels like you are at a resort on an island. You are surrounded by sand and beautiful plants. It has a warm and tropical vibe.

The food is delicious and beautiful. Whether you are a meat lover, pescatarian or vegan, they have options for everyone. I love that about this place. The owner is extremely nice and cool.

Francisco was our server and he was the sweetest. He was very professional and kind. He laid out the red carpet for us and made us feel famous.

Their drinks are beyond good. With great cocktails & mocktail options. They serve cocktail drinks to go so we took a few home.

I highly recommend this place. It’s one of my favorite restaurants and I am a forever customer.

Tu Madre in WeHo was such a vibe ✨ we got the Strawberry Dream with vodka (obsessed), the birria nachos, KBBQ tacos, and the fried chicken taco — and honestly everything was so good. The flavors were bold and fun, and nothing felt basic.

The drinks were definitely the standout though. The Strawberry Dream was sooo good — refreshing, pretty, and dangerous in the best way

On top of that, the service was amazing. Super attentive and friendly, which just makes the whole experience better. The ambience and aesthetic are everythinggg — cute, vibey, perfect for a girls night or date night.

Definitely a WeHo staple. Would go back for the drinks alone.

This is where I came with the girls, but if a date brought me here I’d be swept off my feet!!! Tu Madre feels like a vacation without ever leaving LA. Sand under your feet, big tropical plants swaying around you, and that effortless Mexican-resort energy that makes time slow down.

The food is bold, beautiful, and meant to be shared. The cocktails flirt back. The vibe is carefree and sun-kissed—perfect for loud laughs with your girlfriends or an intimate night where you lean in a little closer.

Shoutout to Francisco, our server—charming, helpful, and a total standout. And yes… we loved it so much we took canned margaritas home.

Girls’ lunch approved.
Date night fantasy unlocked.

I stopped by Tu Madre in West Hollywood and was honestly impressed from the first bite. The Ahi Tuna Bowl ended up being my favorite — the tuna tasted really fresh and the mix of ponzu, crispy toppings, and turmeric rice made every bite super flavorful. I also tried a few of their street tacos, which are $3.50 each, and they were all delicious in their own way. The Chicken Al Pastor had a great marinade and a nice little kick, the KBBQ Braised Beef was tender with that sweet Korean BBQ flavor, and the Brisket taco was simple but packed with juicy brisket. I couldn’t resist trying the Chicken Banh Mi Burrito and it was such a fun twist crunchy, savory, a little tangy, and really well balanced. The guac and chips were the perfect starter, super fresh with crispy house-made chips. Overall, Tu Madre has creative flavors, great pricing, and a really fun menu. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Tu Madre definitely has a vibe! It combines bold flavors, great music, and unforgettable vibes. The place is vibrant and has an amazing ambiance. They have an enormous terrace. The menu reimagines Mexican classics with inventive twists. Their menus are diverse. It offers a wide range of dishes that are not available at your neighborhood taqueria. Everything we ordered was fresh, tasty, and well-seasoned, and it’s a distinctive take on the typical taco and burrito menu. They have a fantastic bar and a fantastic assortment of cocktails. With their unique ingredient combinations, each dish was incredibly tasty! The braised beef and potato taquitos are my favorite. It was very tasty and of excellent quality.
Whether it’s a date night, a birthday, a group celebration, or simply a reason to treat yourself, this venue sets the tone for a good time. I definitely recommend it.

It’s Taco Tuesday in West Hollywood, so you know we had to pull up Tu Madre ✨

First things first — the boozy slushies are a whole vibe. The Sandia Lychee is icy, refreshing, and fruity without being too sweet, and the Mamma Paloma is perfectly tart and citrusy, made with their in-house liquor for that extra kick. Trust me, these slushies are dangerously easy to sip.

For tacos, we went all in:
KBBQ Braised Beef Street Taco – tender, savory, and packed with flavor.
Sweet & Sour Chicken Taco – crispy chicken with that tangy-glazed finish.
KBBQ Taco – bold, saucy, and loaded with umami.
Crispy Shrimp Taco – crunchy, juicy shrimp with fresh toppings to balance it out.

We also had their Potato Taquitos, which were golden, crunchy, and nostalgic in the best way — and the Mini Squash Blossom Quesadilla, melty and delicate with that rich floral flavor you only get from squash blossoms.

If your Taco Tuesday needs an upgrade, this is the spot

Tu Madre West Hollywood is easily one of my new favorite taco spots in LA. We went hard and tried almost the whole menu; standouts were the Crispy Shrimp Taco (insane crunch + umami punch) and the Crispy Fish Taco (perfectly fried, flaky inside, gone in two bites). The Korean BBQ Beef and Grilled Chicken street tacos were great too, but the crispy ones are next-level.

Don’t sleep on dessert; the Red Velvet Churros with cream cheese frosting dip are an absolute must. Warm, cinnamony, ridiculous in the best way.

Outdoor patio is super chill, great music, heaters when it gets cool, and the vibe is just easy and fun. Service was fast and friendly even though we ordered a mountain of food. Already planning the next trip back!

I had a great time at Tu Madre! The food was fresh and full of flavor, and the ambiance had a fun, vibrant energy that really stood out. The staff who were there were super friendly and did their best to keep everything moving. It did look like they could’ve used a bit more help on the floor, but everyone working handled it really well and still made sure guests were taken care of.

I’m Cisco from Ciscos Media and @ciscoscollection on Instagram — I review restaurants and lifestyle spots around LA, and this place is definitely one I’d come back to. Worth checking out if you’re in West Hollywood!

Tu Madre in West Hollywood is a gem and one of those restaurants you cannot help but recommend to friends. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, with a lively energy that makes it perfect for a night out with friends or even a casual date. The tacos here are what set the place apart. These are not ordinary tacos. They are specialty street tacos with bold and creative flavors. Some of the favorites include the crispy fried chicken tacos with a spicy agave glaze and poblano ranch slaw, ahi tuna tacos with citrus ponzu and sesame accents, Korean BBQ tacos layered with kimchi and Fresno chili heat, and the unforgettable pastrami taco topped with fried egg, chipotle aioli, and queso panela. Each taco feels like its own adventure and the quality of the ingredients shines through in every bite.

The cocktail program is just as strong as the food. Mezcal and tequila take center stage, but the bar team gets playful with unexpected combinations. Drinks like the spicy mezcal ginger pineapple cocktail or a creative twist on the classic Paloma with sparkling rosé are balanced, refreshing, and a perfect match to the food.

A big part of what makes the place so special is the team. Don is truly the host with the most, making everyone feel welcome the moment they arrive. And do not mistake the person running around helping with tables for a busboy. That is Chef Domingo, who cares so much about the restaurant that when he is not in the kitchen he is out making sure every guest is taken care of.

Two Madre has the kind of food, service, and energy that makes it a standout in West Hollywood. Delicious tacos, excellent cocktails, and an atmosphere that never fails to deliver. Highly recommend.

Stopped in for dinner. I started with their Horchata. It was creamy, cinnamon forward, and not watered down at all. Really good.

For the appetizer, I had the Potato Tacos. Now these look more like fried burritos but delicious nonetheless. The shells come crispy and the filling is smooth and seasoned well. They top it with queso panela, salsa macha butter, and chives. Light but still flavorful.

For the main, I went with the Carne Asada Bowl. The steak has that house marinated flavor and the bowl is layered with black beans, street corn relish, crispy onions, pico de gallo, queso fresco, avocado tomatillo salsa, and their citrus ponzu. Every bite had something going on and the textures worked together. Especially with some of their house salsas in there.

The vibe is relaxed and the service was friendly throughout. Solid dinner spot in WeHo and worth a visit.
