We had a great experience at Tsuri Japanese Street Food! The sushi was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and made perfectly. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The owners were incredibly welcoming and genuinely happy to have us there, which made the experience even better. Great service, great atmosphere, and amazing sushi. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

My family and I had dinner at Tsuri this weekend and it was phenomenal. We ordered Gyozas as appetizers which were fantastic. Then we ordered 5 different roles, all of the delicious, incredibly beautiful and unique in flavor. You can tell the quality of the ingredients is top notch and the care of putting them together, it is like a work of art. One of the best sushi rolls we’ve ever had!.

It is a family own business so the service is 5 STARS and Laura and her family makes you feel at home.

Definitely will recommend to everyone and I will be coming back for sure. They also do catering for personal or corporate events and is conveniently located in Winter Garden, only 10min from Windermere where we live.

What a fun lunch! The rolls here are very unique – I tried the Dominguez Roll which had salmon, crab, avocado, and plantain among other things. The pancakes we had for dessert were also incredibly fluffy and tasty.

The menu promised far more than the kitchen delivered. Our meal began with chicken and pork dumplings that were adequate but lacked distinction. A couple of sushi rolls and salmon nigiri followed; while the salmon itself had decent flavor, the overcooked rice compromised the experience. The sashimi assortment was sparse and uninspired, offering little in variety or artistry.

The tuna poke bowl was the most disappointing dish of the evening—its lack of freshness and flavor ultimately rendered it inedible. The pork belly udon, though visually appealing, fell short on depth and complexity, leaving the broth tasting one-dimensional. For the prices charged, I expected sharper execution and greater attention to detail.

That said, the setting itself is delightful. The small, Japanese-inspired space is impeccably clean, thoughtfully arranged, and warmly welcoming. Even the restroom was spotless—a sign of the owner’s pride in presentation. Harolt, the proprietor, was gracious and genuinely hospitable, making the experience pleasant despite the culinary shortcomings. With significant improvements in quality and consistency, this charming venue could one day become as memorable for its food as it is for its atmosphere and service.

Tsuri Japanese Street Food – A Culinary Gem!

If you’re looking for an extraordinary Japanese dining experience, Tsuri Japanese Street Food is a must-visit! From the moment you walk in, the service is impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring every detail is perfect.

The food is simply spectacular—a fusion of high-end gastronomy with unique flavor combinations you won’t find anywhere else. Imagine delicate touches of kiwi, mini roses, and even jasmine leaves, creating a symphony of flavors that elevate traditional Japanese cuisine to another level. Every dish is incredibly fresh and made with top-quality ingredients, making each bite an unforgettable experience.

If you’re in the area, you need to stop by! And if you’re not, their delivery service is an excellent option to enjoy this incredible food from home. Highly recommended!

Tsuri was an interesting discovery. The atmosphere is very pretty, feeling extremely clean and pleasant. The decorations, signs, and atmosphere take you to something very Japanese and take you a little bit out of the ordinary restaurant scene.

The service is very good, really no complaints. The food was served quickly and the staff was quite attentive.

My problem comes with the food. My dish wasn’t bad, but it didn’t feel very fresh or up to the quality for the price. There’s a lot of room for improvement in the future if they want to take off faster. The gyozas taste frozen and aren’t that difficult to make from scratch. You’ll always order good gyozas if they’re up to scratch. The sushi donut seemed too small, and the sashimi on top wasn’t of very good quality—cut, but the concept is great, and they could improve it a lot, even if they just charge more.

The music could be better, in keeping with the atmosphere; anime and Japanese music would greatly improve the ambiance.

Had potential but wasted, I still wish you the best in your business.

Super disappointing. They didn’t have anything I wanted on the menu so I had to choose different items. The coconut lemonade (not my first choice) was very sour and also had such a fine pulp that it scratched the back of my throat with every sip. The chicken gyoza (not my first choice) was OKAY at best and had no dipping sauce. Very plain and underwhelming experience. The ramen (they had no chicken option only pork and prawn) was mediocre. Lacked complex flavor. It wasn’t prawn at all, it was precooked shrimp. (Yes there’s a difference) and the shrimp was rubbery. Overall not terrible but left unsatisfied. Definitely not authentic Japanese, more Japanese inspired and that’s okay but I wish that was advertised because it’s definitely not what I was expecting.

Being originally from Japan, I’m pretty selective about sushi. I like to seek out fusion-style sushi, and Tsuri definitely did not disappoint. They incorporate some unexpected ingredients, like fruits (kiwi, strawberries, etc.), which turned out to be a delightful surprise. I also love supporting local businesses, and the owners are incredibly welcoming and kind. The food was so good that I ended up ordering four different rolls. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend giving them a try!
