Came in around 6 on a Thursday night. It was very slow and that seemed a bit concerning. We had a seat by the bar and our waitress came right over. It was happy hour so we all ordered some drinks. Opted for an app while we chose our meals. The Spicy grilled edamame was so good! The sushi was fresh and quite good. We were very happy with our first meal here and will be back I am sure.

Owners wife came to the table with the server and wanted to argue about what I wanted to order. I have ordered the same item, the same way since Tsunami on Harbison opened. Then they brought the wrong orders to the table from the appetizers to entrees things were missing. Then they still wanted to charge us for it all even when I didn’t touch the food. We will not be coming back to Tsunami on Harbison and will let friends, family and strangers know to avoid tsunami on Harbison due to the customer service. Or lack thereof. You don’t EVER argue with a customer. Unacceptable customer service. Sad.

This was the first time eating here and we were very impressed. The food was great!! We tried the Spicy garlic edamame and it was so good. The sushi was fresh and we really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back.

We dined in. The service was very slow, my drink was only refilled once and my son’s drink was not refilled at all. My sushi roll was not right, I had the great California roll and there was no crab stick in it. My salmon was hard and over cooked but my husband and son did enjoy their food. Only my husband, my son, and I dined in and an 18% gratuity was added to our check. I still left the waitress an additional tip and I’ve always tipped over 18% but I did not appreciate that there was a gratuity added to my ticket when there was only 2 adults and a child dining. I was not given a ticket that showed gratuity was added so I would not have known gratuity was added had I not asked for the actual ticket before I left. I have dined at Tsunami several times but that was my first and last time at this location.

Poor customer service purchased $31.00 worth of food my sushi I ordered was not in the bag. I told the young lady checking out she was very defensive saying I did not order sushi. I told her only thing you have to do is look at the receipt and see I purchased sushi instead of saying what I did not order. She goes to the back bring me sushi back and says nothing. Will not be back.

It was a friday evening and kind of busy. We were seated in the bar area. The bartender was great, service was fantastic! Checked in with us regularly didn’t have to wait for drinks. I had the chicken teriyaki which was fabulous. My husband had the General Tso chicken which was the best I’ve had in the Columbia area. Definitely ordering that next time so my hubby can eat his own meal without my chopsticks invading his plate. Lol! $3 mimosas were the icing in the cake!

Very poor service. Had server come to the table only a few times. Apps came out separately, had our drinks refilled once the entire meal, and, an 18% auto gratuity was added to our bill for my friend and I, a two top which was not mentioned prior to receiving the bill. Service was not even worth the 18% auto gratuity added. Server, Isaac, dropped lids to the Togo containers on floor then proceeded to give them to us as if we wouldn’t notice. 1/10 would not recommend this place. Even the downtown location has gone downhill but the lack of service, added gratuity which multiple other reviews mention are “misunderstandings”, and unsanitary food practices make this place a definitive no-go. Sakura or Inakaya are much better options if you’re looking for good sushi.

Had awesome food……my server was an absolute sweetheart. I had the Siren speciality roll, poke bowl, and the crab salad. Everything was fantastic. Was a hr too late for their happy hour special which is 3 for $10 sushi rolls but was still completely satisfied.
