Everything we ordered seemed a bit bland to our liking. Note: we’ve been to a lot of Japanese restaurant so this is me comparing it to my fave one.
Rice in their sushi is quite thick and has no flavour. I ordered my fave aburi salmon but I tasted more of the plain rice than the seared salmon. Even when I just removed the rice altogether, the salmon didn’t quite taste like seared.
Also ordered tonkatsu and miso ramen. Chashu is quite thick, a bit dr, a bit tender. I wish there’s more flavour on the soup as well, aste a bit lacking. Takoyaki also taste more flour-y, I didnt like it.
But overall it’s still an okay restaurant. I’ve just been used to, and prefer, more flavour which I didn’t find here.
The place is clean and cozy.

Rolls were a very good size and amazingly flavorful. Service was quick and friendly, highly recommend. We will be back the next time we are in Medicine Hat Also really liked how they had quite a few tables for dine-in option.

Had sashimi and ramen here a few weeks ago, the sashimi was okay – the shrimp and tuna weren’t the greatest. The chashu pork in the ramen wasn’t the traditionally rolled pork belly and could’ve been a bit better.

Been there twice. Won’t go again. The serving person needs a attitude adjustment. I watched her go round in circles as we waited and waited.
Unless you have been to a Good sushi restaurant you might not notice there is too much rice under the sushi and the tuna is stringy. The calamari tough and salty , miso soup Luke warm and salty

Always enjoy eating here. The service is great and the food is usually quick. If you don’t like the seaweed wrap on your sushi you can replace it with the soy wraps. The dinner deals come with so much food, I had to take the beef teriyaki home.

Wow amazing! The exact sushi place I’ve been looking for! Very lovely atmosphere, such kind and charismatic staff and they even played a very calming music station of Disney piano medleys <3 Food was delicious and portion sizes are very impressive the sushi roll I had was the black dragon and was much bigger than any I've seen elsewhere. As an Unagi enthusiast I was very happy to see a wide variety of selections for that as well. Will return as often as possible and with all my friends!!!

Quiet little sushi restaurant a very well made menu the deep fried scallops were some of the best I’ve every had my wife loved the udon they were easy to modify our order around dietary restrictions very impressed with the meal the rolls were fresh and enjoyable with interesting combos I wish I got to try a macaron but they were sold out of flavors I wanted to try
