Best noodles I’ve had in LA. Comparable to the the best noodle shops I’ve gone to in Japan. I drive from the west side all the way to Pasadena just to have it. Highly recommend

Sublime experience with outstanding customer service and my favorite chashu and tonkotsu in the city. Was happy to see that the menu has been upgraded and the owner has done an outstanding job of transitioning from their previous concept to their own business, prices have come down as well. Excellent experience, thank you!

Highly recommend the Jiro ramen! The broth is delicious, fatty, and garlicky. Other favs are the karaage and gyoza appetizers and Sunright tea that you can get right inside now. Definitely my go-to spot for ramen.

Food is good, the service was lacking. The waiter asked what were our drinks, left to attend other people that were arriving. The arriving parties got their drinks long before we ever did. I had to go out of my way to ask when we get our drinks. Just an overall disappointing experience

Not sure what was the mess up with Sunright. Pretty much this store sells limited Sunright tea studio drinks that do not allow you to customize sugar or ice level. Pick up is also a hassle. Knocked on the small window over 10 times and more than 5 workers were standing around talking. Went into the store and they sent me back to the small window. The person inside the store ended up yelling at one of the guys to have him oven up the pick up window. What a mess!

If you’re looking for a ramen spot in Pasadena that goes beyond the ordinary, Tsuke Artisan Noodle is the place to go. This cozy, bustling noodle house delivers bold flavors, rich broths, and serious attention to detail. I came in on a friend’s recommendation and left completely blown away by three standout items: the Jiro-style ramen, the karaage, and the tsukemen.

The Jiro ramen is a total flavor bomb. Thick, chewy noodles are served in an ultra-rich pork broth that’s garlicky, savory, and satisfyingly fatty. It’s a heavy, indulgent bowl in the best possible way. The pork is tender and flavorful, and the toppings pile high, making it feel like a true meal. Every bite was hearty, comforting, and balanced without being overwhelming.

Before the ramen, I tried the karaage and it was absolutely perfect. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned just right with notes of garlic and ginger. What makes it truly unique is the sweet delicious syrupy sauce added to it which is mega-crave-able. It’s one of those side dishes that could easily steal the show. Crunchy, hot, and addicting; I’d come back for this alone.

But the real standout for me was the tsukemen. The dipping noodles were perfectly cooked with a nice spring and chew, and the dipping broth was thick, rich, and full of umami. I loved being able to dip each bite and control the flavor intensity. The noodles and broth were clearly crafted to complement each other, and together they delivered a super satisfying and unique ramen experience.

Overall, Tsuke Artisan Noodle is doing something special. The quality of the food, the consistency across dishes, and the warm, low-key atmosphere all add up to a place that really respects its craft. Whether you’re a ramen nerd or just looking for a great meal, this spot absolutely delivers
