Reviews
One of the best things about Tsing Tao is that the food feels healthier and less greasy compared to other local Chinese places, without sacrificing any flavor.
The service was quick and friendly, making the experience even better. For the quality and quantity of food, Tsing Tao offers fantastic value. Plus, it’s nice to leave feeling good, full, and not overly thirsty. We’ll definitely keep coming back!
The orange chicken and lo mein *USE* to be amazing! We would have dreams about how good it was and would take any opportunity to eat out to eat here.
But our most recent experience, after the new ownership, was disappointing…
Although the service was great, the renovations were nothing special. In fact we missed the old esthetics. The old layout gave a very “Ventura Blvd” (Los Angeles) restraint vibe and this new layout looked like a new construct or flipped condo in millennial gray. We were extremely disappointed in the food. The orange chicken has fat and fatty. It literally tasted like Panda Express. The lo mein was ok, but extra greasy, and the chicken wings looked amazing but were fairly underwhelming.
We hyped up the (old) menu to our friends, forgetting about the new ownership, and it showed. The price hike also disproportionately reflects the quality. If the orange chicken recipe had stayed the same I would have accepted the increased prices.
I cant reiterate enough how heartbreaking it is that the orange chicken recipe changed. RIP greatest orange chicken in all the U.S. You are missed 🙁
