I had to stop myself from eating so fast because the food was so good. The Dynamite Chicken and the Teriyaki Chicken have the right amount of flavor and freshness. The veggies are crisp and plentiful and the food is always hot and delicious. I also enjoy talking to the wife, she always gives me a good giggle when we chat. I tried an egg roll today and that was delicious as well. This place is now on my list of favorites!!

YALL GOTTA STOP HYPING UP restaurants with no taste!! I can’t find a Chinese or Japanese in Norfolk that is quality taste!! The egg roll that she forgot was burnt! The chicken was under cooked with NO TASTE!! And the teriyaki plates one dynamite was basically the same!! Like stop making these Asia spots more than what it is because you never had quality Chinese!! MIDDDDDDD and I’ve been all over Norfolk and still haven’t found at least 2nd time buying worthy with Asian! Anyway… support what you want I’m just saying try New York Chinese or hibachi and this will make you sad!! (SN: we went when they opened again at 4 because that’s a thing. And I was the first customer so yea food should have definitely been WAY BETTER!! *UPDATE* I tried the dynamite and Teriyaki chicken and shrimp…. HOWWWWW ARE YALL RATING!! Dynamite literally hot red chili peppers with no real taste and teriyaki not sweet AT ALL!!! They play in yall face and yall look foolish saying it’s so good!!

Menu says orange chicken and Mongolian chicken but they don’t make either. I got teriyaki chicken and it was okay. My husband got dynamite shrimp and it was the same exact sauce as the teriyaki chicken.

Came here a while back and there’s nothing really Japanese about this food. I was really interested when I saw that there was going to be a Japanese restaurant near where I lived. It’s just another strip mall Chinese food place basically.

Well I finally tried this place today. They recently moved to this new location on Tidewater Dr. from the Princess Anne location. Always road past thought about going in for years but never did. Happy I finally tried I must say it was pretty good. I got the dynamite chicken with fried rice and a order of chicken wings. The wings could use some work overcooked. i was not to impress with them, but the main dish was on point. Took my coworker with me to try them out he enjoyed his meal also. They cook everything to order and they can get busy, So expect a lil wait.

hands down the best hole in the wall in the area.. this place has ruined all other chinese/japanese takeout places for me.. the dynamite chicken is where its at.. I had this as a 4 star and just came back to update to a 5 star. The food is just so good

First timer. Here’s my experience.
#1 Woman at the counter was kinda rude. The guy in front of me wanted his sauce on the side and she straight up said “No” hahaha Then said it would be 50 cents extra… that’s BS
#2 I ordered Teriyaki Chicken and Shrimp. I got Dynamite Chicken and Shrimp.
#3 The food was good. 4/5 good.
#5 The food was also SEVERELY expensive for being served out of a shack. $12+ for the food with no drink =$15 with tip . For that kind of pricing, I was expecting a pretty good sized plate of food, but as you can see in the picture (pre-eating ANYTHING) the container of food wasn’t necessarily full, and is probably the smallest of that type of container that I’ve EVER seen. The CD next to the food is for scale. You do the math.

I got the “vegetable bowl” and it was not good at all. This is not authentic Japanese food. I only tried this place because of the decent reviews. It was a waste of time and money.
