Stop by and try Ts place. We liked the mashed taters and gravy. The breakfast was just right as well as the pancake. Breakfast prices are reasonable. Restaurant is clean. Will definitely return.

Fantastic service, great food, very relaxing place to enjoy your meal, it was just like home but with extra yummy food. All our food was so delicious. I ate my entire mushroom Swiss burger. Yum!!! We can’t wait to bring our entire family. Those in DeQuincy if you haven’t eaten here you are missing out. We are from out of town and can’t wait to visit again. Thanks so much for treating us like family.

Most people would miss a small town jewel like this. In the heart of Dequincy, a small town surrounded by a blue collar workforce and a history attached to the railroad there is this little restaurant called “T’s Place.” Named after a local and highly respected military veteran, T’s offers the very best of local southern dining. As a chef and southern cuisine food critic, I noted several observations of this establishment.
The environment is welcoming to all that can find the place and possesses the signature location for the plant workers afyer hours, and the family after a long school week. Mind you, this place is your saving grace if you run out of time in the evening to make dinner. The kids options are centered around the average child, but simple enough and priced properly to invite the tired parent on a budget. We first visited for breakfast and I had the recommended omelet with hashbrowns. Well above the chain standard and delivered hot and timely. My partner had one of the listed burgers and was absolutely blown away. Crafted well, cooked perfectly, and served on uncommon bread. That is how you get the attention of an unannounced visit from a critic! The place was so comfortable and welcoming that we decided to return for dinner. We learned that Margaret is the new owner and has only been at the helm for a couple of months. We were shocked by the operation and cleanliness from a young new owner. What an outstanding job! We ordered the chicken fried steak with mash, and the boiled shrimp plate. We also had to indulge in the chocolate covered penut butter balls and a slice of pecan cheese cake. They nailed every flavor and temptation that sits in the heart of southern cuisine! Alexis and Nick are well rounded local young folks starting their lives in the business of service and are clearly headed for great things. It’s hard making money these days, but the two deserve every tip that they earn. They clearly meet the mark of southern hospitality! We will definitely return during our future visits in Dequincy. I have only two critiques from our short time there. Any southern cooking establishment in blue-collar America should offer a cold beer option. I understand the political side of things in small town America, but there are certain things worth fighting for. A simple beer option would double your revenue! Parking is going to need to be addressed as you expand. You should partner with other businesses to come up with a plan. Altogether, amazing job!!!

The food wasn’t bad! It seems that the burger patties are pre-made, so they have that “school lunch” taste, but other than that it tasted fresh!
Help this local business so they can buy better hamburger meat!!!

Management is terrible. Food is bland. The waitresses are rude and doesn’t get what a customer needs. This whole place is ridiculously unfair and unfriendly. The times i have gone was a bad experience each time. And today was just my last straw. never again. I will not be returning.
