Newly revived Tryst brings a fun menu and high quality drinks. The full bar has its own creations but also prepares plenty of cocktail classics. Drinks were balanced and fresh.

The menu ranges from familiar dishes to gastropb creations with the perfect touch of creativity.

On this first visit, I had the steak frites. Steak had nice flavor and the fries were excellent. Also appreciated the arugula on the side!

My husband got the donut sliders and he loved them. They had a nice contrast of salty and sweet.

Service was excellent. Will definitely be going back!

Grand opening was great. They had about five food samples. Chicken tacos were one of the best I had! The bread was fresh fluffy, and just a little bit of crunch and the chicken inside was really flavorful and juicy, of course with the slaw. Lamb chops were tender and flavorful, well marinated! The salmon and smoked fish dip were delicious as well and the slider meat was juicy delicious and was in a hot sweet doughnut bun! Very interesting but I did like it so I recommend the food! And then of course, the cocktails were craft cocktails with high end liquor! I had the spicy watermelon margarita with fresh watermelon, delicious! Ambience was lively, and staff was friendly! Good music, and some cool projections on the walls…

My friend and I stumbled upon this place while we were waiting for a dinner reservation and ended up stopping in for happy hour. I was surprised at how amazing the deal was! Not only did they had a large number of handcrafted cocktails that were half off, but happy hour is all week (including weekends!). I had The Breeze and the Prickly Pear Mojito and both were really delicious. My friend had the Lychee Martini and it was by far the best Lychee Martini we’ve both had. For under $10, you really can’t beat that price, especially in Boca and in Mizner park. The bartender we had (I believe her name was Katherine) was incredibly attentive and friendly, and we met the owner on the way out, and he was an incredibly nice guy. We’re excited to come back and try out the food menu!

Tryst has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The food is incredible we had the NY strip, salmon, and the shrimp scampi special, and everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The vibe is amazing too! We’ve also come here late at night when there was a DJ, and it was the best place to hang out, grab drinks, and just enjoy the atmosphere. I highly recommend going here if it’s for dinner or even a fun night out with friends!

I love TRYST in Mizner Park! My favorite dishes are the fish tacos and steak frites. I come at least three times a week because they have the best happy hour in town. The Latin band on Fridays is amazing — I danced all night last night! Great food, drinks, and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We researched a number of restaurants in this area and selected Tryst for a variety of reasons. What we found on arrival was an awesome staff (attentive to our reservation, immediate seating, welcoming, friendly, etc.). This was followed by patient, honest and candid answers to any of my questions regarding the menu (I had many), and then the delivery of an incredibly delicious meal.

This was followed by more great service and focus on our satisfaction. We were in Boca as weekenders from St. Pete FL. When we go back to Boca – Tryst will be a dining destination for sure… Loved the vibe, the atmosphere, the music, and of course – the great service and great food…

A Night I’ll Never Forget – Tryst Boca Raton

Last night, after being picked up from the airport by my daughter following a very turbulent and stressful flight, I had no idea what was waiting for me on the ground. The weather was part of what I believe to be Hurricane Melissa, and the conditions were absolutely terrifying — torrential rain, flooded roads, and zero visibility. I had my two service dogs, Coco and Bunny, with me, and all I wanted was to make it home safely.

The rain became so intense that we stopped at a gas station to take cover. When we tried again to drive home, the flooding was so severe we couldn’t continue. We eventually pulled into a parking garage near Mizner Park to keep the car elevated. When we stepped out, the streets were completely underwater — you couldn’t walk without wading through it.

My daughter noticed a restaurant with its lights still on, and a kind gentleman came out into the storm to help us. That man turned out to be Brendan, one of the owners of Tryst. He came out, picked up Coco himself, and guided us safely through the back door to shelter.

From that moment on, Brendan, Johnny, (Brendan’s wife) and their incredible staff treated us like family. They brought water for my dogs, made sure we were comfortable, and showed a level of kindness and humanity I will never forget. Even though they were surely eager to close and get home safely themselves, they stayed and ensured everyone inside was cared for.

In a time of real crisis, they opened their doors and their hearts to complete strangers — including two little service dogs — and made us feel safe when the world outside felt frightening.

Brendan and his team at Tryst quite literally saved our lives that night. I will forever be grateful for their compassion, generosity, and calm in the storm. I can’t wait to return to dine there properly soon, under much calmer skies.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Jill Spector

We stopped her randomly on our road trip. The taste of the food was not commensurate with the price. The restaurant is downtown and seems like that makes the prices exponentially higher. The steak was $65 which was extremely high for the dish I received. The Mahi burger was dry but the fries were wonderfully spiced. I really enjoyed the oysters and the escargot but again way overpriced. The best part of the restaurant was the decor. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Very tasty food from New Orleans! They have a great selection of appetizers and dishes. The drink menu is something new to me but, the drinks are very refreshing. The inside of the restaurant has a lot of interesting details. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a new and unique experience.
