Today I ordered an Italian Sub and the Gorgonzola Salad to be delivered. Oh my gosh!!! The bread on the sandwich is absolutely delicious as are the quality meats and cheese. I ordered a small salad and wow is it most restaurants large. Such a generous portion and one of the best I have had since moving to Trumbull. It was packaged nicely and the driver placed it carefully in the only dry spot on the porch. Order from them with complete confidence. When we eat at the restaurant, the service is always great too.

If you are operating on a tight schedule, this place is gold. The service is fast and efficient, and the prices are decent. They excel at quickly delivering a hot meal, which is why we stopped here.
The problem, unfortunately, lies with the pizza itself. Our order: extra cheese, sausage, and basil, it was visually appealing but ultimately flavorless. It had that “no real taste” quality that suggests an opportunity missed on seasoning or sauce depth.

The lunch was delicious. I will absolutely give them high stars for that. I was however dissapointed that when getting my change back, they gave me bills only and not the coins that were owed. I understand there is a penny shortage, but that doesnt include all coins. And to do it without acknowledgement, or asking if I had the correct change to make it a bills only exchange would have been appreciated over just not giving me my owed money. I will say it was under $.20, but the fact remains, it is good business practice to be upfront and have integrity.

Trumbull is our go to when we don’t have time to cook. If we asked our kids where they want to eat, they all scream, “Trumbull Pizza.” They eat everything on the menu.
The Sicilian crust is too good to describe.

the food is/was awesome!! (had left overs to take home, heated the sandwhich today and it’s freaking awesome!) our server was the sweetest and all the cooks were courteous and seemed to be enjoying their time at work. everything is made to order and you can taste the difference if you happen to be from ontario, canada..
$77.. we had a half cheese pizza, half meatlovers.. the soup was very good, and is filling on its own -it had some pasta, beans.. forgot what it was called. anyway, whatever you see (photos) just order them too! for those who have high blood pressure, the garlic knots will help you, i promise! they dont skimp on the garlic!
ps: pasta fagioli soup!!!
