The value is outstanding $1.50 wheat mugs are a rare find, and the burgers are exceptionally generous in portion size, often more than satisfying with just half. Beyond the food and drink, the environment stands out. While it is a bar, there are hours of the day when the atmosphere is calm enough to comfortably focus and get work done, which adds versatility to the space.
Service is another highlight. My server, Paizlee, was kind, attentive, and genuinely sweet, elevating the overall visit. It’s clear that the staff cares about creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience. Truman’s combines quality, value, and atmosphere in a way that makes it a reliable choice for both relaxation and productivity. Highly recommended.

I ordered their pork tenderloin sandwich for pick up. Took an hour, which I can kind of understand since it was Valentine’s Day. It wasn’t anything special, and they didn’t even bother putting the top bun on the sandwich.

Honestly the vibes have significantly improved! The staff is attentive and welcoming. Emily the bartender does a great job of making sure everyone is taken care of and keeps the patrons in line. Man guys- Our waitress was totally slammed! We came for wing Wednesday and it took almost 2 hours to get our wings. She did her best to keep up with drinks and we were a large party- So kudos to her. Hopefully you guys are able to get more help in place, especially during promos!!! We love Truman’s, but the help needs help!! ❤️ You guys owe the employees that you have that much!! Best place ever for drinks. But the experience is very terrible with bad servers. When we have had friendly servers it was amazing. The chicken sandwich is just a frozen chicken patty. I wouldn’t recommend.
This particular visit, our server was rude and couldn’t answer any basic questions about the menu.

I love steak but I have a rule of thumb to not order it at a restaurant because myself my wife and my father can always cook it better at home. This includes a very high end steak house that charges 120 a plate and people rave about that me and my father were disappointed by. But on this night I felt like breaking that rule I ordered the ribeye and i was very happy. Cooked a perfect medium rare throughout nice seer and very well seasoned. My wife got smothered grilled chicken and loved it also. If your in the area I highly recommend stopping in.

We went on a football Sunday. The atmosphere on a game day is one to experience. I had the buffet and was told the owner is who made my omelet. It was very good and there were several items I could add to make the omelette just the way I like it. Fresh fruit on the buffet was a nice touch. The only reason for the 4 stars is that there were not enough staff to handle the busy day. Someone should be there to help take out food and clear away the dirty tables. The food however was good and the server was awesome.

A hidden gem! Awesome food! Fresh, cooked to order. Huge portions. Clean, well-stocked restrooms. Large parking lot. Our server, Paisley, was incredible! Best breakfast in CoMo. Try it. You won’t be disappointed.

We went the Sunday after Christmas for their brunch. It did not disappoint!! Their brunch buffet was solid. My favorite is the biscuits and gravy. They have fresh fruit options. The omelet bar is a family favorite.
