New American cooking stressing local ingredients served in a formal room with a sweeping skylight.

Make sure to have a reservation as they are busy. This is my first time being here but all the food coming out looked and smelled delicious. Ours was except the cole slaw. It wasn’t even slaw it was and tasted like seaweed. I had the bbq ribs and Mac and cheese. Both were superb. The truffle fries can put me in rehab. Their selection of wines hands down the most extensive I’ve seen so far in the stl area.

Hubs and I had a lovely time sharing a bottle of wine and sharing our meals with one another. We had. 5:00 reservation and loved the atmosphere the food the service. He had the filet I had the chicken breast— garlic mashed potatoes are a favorite of mine we also shared a meat and cheese tray some wine and the truffles for a little treat with some coffee before we left. This is in my top 3 upscale places to eat around STL. We will be back.

This is an absolutely fun place with a great atmosphere. The food is well prepared and the service is always above and beyond. Great place for catching up or a fun date night.

The bar buzz hits you before your drink even does. I sat down, cracked open my laptop, and immediately had three people chatting me up like I was the mayor. The food is great and we’ll get to it in a minute, but have you met Duke, the bartender? He’s mixing up good vibes back there. I’m gonna send him a friendship bracelet because I feel like we’re gonna be friends for life.
Naturally, I ordered the truffle fries, because duh, it’s in the name. Then came the barbecue shrimp (pro tip: order more bread for the dipping situation), and the tuna lettuce wraps, and that tuna was thicc. I looked around and thought it was a mistake, but I was like I’m not saying shit. I was in #stlouispescatarianapproved happiness zone.
Next time we need to put a fish on my ice cube. Just saying.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful evening at Truffles. We came for dinner on Valentine’s Day and I was very impressed with the whole experience. Our server, Courtney, provided absolutely excellent service. I never had to ask for a thing, prompt, polite, professional and clearly well experienced. The food was, as expected, far above average. We were especially surprised by the Korean Fried Cauliflower but everything was genuinely sublime. We had a truly delightful evening and would recommend Truffles to anyone who wants a five star dining experience.

10/10.
Plus, and maybe I’ve just never been anywhere now but they do half bottle on their wine. Phenomenal.
They had a chef special “snack” prosciutto wrapped buffalo chicken ball, so good. Our entrees, both steak, perfect. Would Definitely go again and would absolutely recommend.

We had not been to Truffles so we stopped for a drink. We wanted a table in the bar area but each one had a reserved sign on them. So we sat at the bar where we met a great bartender, Duke. My girlfriend asked for the drink menu but they don’t have one. Duke said he can make us anything so I asked for a pomegranate cosmo. My girlfriend wanted to see how mine tasted before ordering one for herself. The cosmo was very smooth so my girlfriend ordered one also. We told Duke we wanted to order food but we wanted a table. Duke saw people leaving and he went to the hostess and requested the table for us. Excellent service from Duke! We split the Miso Duck Breast and a side of asparagus. The duck was cooked perfectly and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The asparagus was grilled and it had a slight char taste and smell which was wonderful. Excellent service and great food. The bar area was casual where the dining room was more formal.

I hate to give negative feedback, maybe it’s me, but the chicken is often served almost raw! It looks beautifully cooked but once cut into, it’s super picky and raw. We decided to bring it home and recook it. Everything else was exquisite!

Truffles is somewhat formal and I would call it fine dining. Very busy but they take reservations. The Hawaiian Red Ahi Tuna wraps were absolutely to die for. We ordered the tagliatelle ragu and the New York strip, both fantastic! On the dessert menu, we tried the flourless chocolate torte and the croissant bread pudding, which were great. We got engaged tonight and they made us a crème brûlée on the house and it was our favorite dessert! It’s pricey but well worth it! Amazing place for a special occasion!
