My friend and I came here for dinner and ended up having an amazing experience. We ordered the mussels and orange chicken skewers to start. It was very good no complaints. We then had braised ribs as our entree’s and they were so tender and moist it melted in our mouths. The bartender and host Joe was very nice, entertaining and a great mixologists. We definitely will be returning.

I had a great meal here. We were a party of five, and everyone loved their dish, not a single complaint, couldn’t be any better. Especially the asparagus risotto with bay scallops and shrimp. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is amazing! So warm and kind, the chef comes out to ask you how your meal is. I recommend coming here, you won’t regret it! I will most definitely come again!

Very clean place. Cozy decor. Extremely attentive waiter. Great wine selection. Good entree portions. The rack of lamb was absolutely amazing and cooked to medium perfection. I’ll be making this one of my 5 regular spots as they have with one visit edged out one of my favorite restaurants and claimed a top 5 spot on my roster. Well done.

Phenomenal! As background, I have eaten at some of the best restaurants around the world—from The Four Seasons, to the Queens Grill on Queen Mary 2 to Le Jules Verne in Paris. I did my homework online for a reunion with one of my closest friends and associates. I live in New Jersey and the reviews were so positive about Truffle that I thought I would travel to Valley Stream because I didn’t want my friend (who lives in Freeport) to travel into Manhattan. With that said, I arrived and parked in the snug parking lot guided by a young, affable man dressed in chef’s attire.
We had the whole restaurant to ourselves and it was marvelous. We were pampered and waited on as if we had our own personal chef. It turns out that the parking valet is also Chef Reed!! Who knew??!! The lunch menu was quickly exchanged for a dinner menu because I was very hungry. The selection was outstanding. The preparation was perfect and the presentation was impeccable. I love this restaurant!! It is a hidden gem in the midst of Valley Stream. I highly recommend this treasure for anyone who wants the best in food, service and atmosphere. We will be coming back to Truffle.

Finally dined at truffle for the first time on valentines day evening. The food and drinks were amazing, however the restaurant overbooked causing complete chaos. I was looking forward to eating here as the reviews are amazing but my experience was damaged by the 2 and a half hour wait to eat even though I had a reservation. The host was very in experienced in handling a crowd at that magnitude causing an angry mob of guest. No management on site for crowd control, but the servers did their best to apologize as the hostess was too frustrated to address the obvious issues. The food was really really good, and I understand making a profit is essential, but I was really disappointed in the lack of professionalism, service and structure.

Truffle is elegant and one of a kind. The owner and his wife work hard to make sure all the guests are enjoying their experience. Not only is the staff friendly and attentive, but the food is unbelievable. Thus far everything I have tried on the menu has been outstanding. I look forward to dining at Truffle in the future.

I really like this place. Definitely a hidden little gem in Valley Stream. I’ve eaten here on a couple of occassions with my family and the food was always great with excellent service. Chef Raed is a master at what he does. Last night, the food was a little off. I had the rib eye and it was ever so slightly over cooked and definitely under seasoned. I’ve had it before and it was excellent. Perhaps I should have mentioned how I wanted it seasoned
The service was great. I believe our server’s was Joe and he remembered us from a year ago and delivered top notch service. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Truffle because the food is good and has been noted on other reviews the portions are generous for the price.
