Trufa is such a gem in Harlem! The food is absolutely amazing — truly the best chicken Parmesan I’ve had in a long time. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. The service was just as impressive. Jun took such great care of us… warm, attentive, and genuinely kind.

A fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Michelin-style quality with middle-class pockets. Everything was absolutely delicious! My chicken Marsala was to die for, the crème brûlée was perfection, and our waitress was so pleasant. Definitely coming back.

I love going to Trufa whenever I am in the area. The small, intimate atmosphere is so perfect for a 2-person meal, whether it’s a friend, family member, or date. The pasta is absolutely incredible and the burgers are amazing! This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the city.

I was longing to try Trufa’s food so I ordered some for delivery tonight. I went for Spinach Ravioli with pink sauce topped with ricotta and Chicken Sorrentino which is a meal in itself. The ravioli were very good! Delicate pasta filled with spinach, complemented by the creamy pink sauce, which I found the slightly lacking in salt (but it’s just my personal taste), the dish was very satisfying.
The Chicken Sorrentino was the standout. Featuring layers of juicy chicken, eggplant, mozzarella, and bacon, with mashed potatoes and perfectly steamed vegetables sautéed with garlic that completed the meal beautifully.
They do their own deliveries and were very fast.
This experience left me eager to explore more of Trufa’s menu. Their attention to detail and robust flavors make them a great spot to try. I also liked the postcard of the artist stapled to the delivery bag. I’ll definitely be visiting soon!

Let me start by saying this cozy family restaurant led by owner/Chef Eduardo has amazing food. While most of the seating is for 2, they rearranged a few tables to accommodate my dinner party of 3.
The philosophy of Trufa, “quality ingredients from unique recipes, improving classic American staples… carefully creating a diverse menu,” for ALL

We started with the Hamilton Heights Empanadas, which were flaky, seasoned well and topped off just right with a jalapeño cilantro aioli
The New England Clam Chowder, is a neighborhood fav, at 10:30pm there was only 1 order left, which was packed with clams and let me know it’s made fresh daily.

The specials were enticing and 2 of the 3 of us had one, the last choosing a pasta staple.

All of our entrees were artfully presented and Delicious.

While I finished all of my Black and White mixed seafood pasta, each of my dinner companions took food home.

While I am not in Hamilton Heights often, I can definitely recommend Trufa and see why this family gem is a go to of the neighborhood.

I ordered delivery from the website. Great pricing and portions! Unfortunately, the driver put the hot and cold items together and my dessert melted. A call to the restaurant was all that was needed. They sent a replacement right away. Great customer service!

I am not sure how this place has such a high rating. I was genuinely excited to try this spot due to the reviews. The lasagna was hard as heck, the sauce was not seasoned and I swear they used American cheese inbetween the layers. The Caesar salad was extremely disappointing. The salad was dry and tossed together carelessly you’d think a todler made it. On top of that they added huge chucks of parmesano. Maybe I just went at the wrong time but I would not recommend it. Especially considering how expensive it is

I’ve always ignored this small busy looking restaurant assuming vegan options weren’t available.

Needless to say how I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. I inquired and chose the
‘Angel Hair Primavera’ from the vegan options available. For $14 it’s a pasta dish (noodles really) well seasoned (a tad salty) yet hearty, filling, heavy and enough to eat 3x over. I’ve included pics. Worth a taking a trip for. I took it to go. Great energy also worth noting from staff who served me with generosity

The food wasn’t horrible but the pasta was too oily and while cooking the chefs had no gloves and were touching there faces and the food. One guy even used a dirty rag to clean his mouth. Also , the pasta they serve is made in one big batch that they just reheat for the prices of this food I would have expected better. The only good thing was that the server was really friendly.I would not reccomend going here if you don’t wanna get sick from the unhygienic Chef’s.
