Cold tough ribs. Did not know that was an option. Cold tough fatty brisket. Cold burnt ends. Hot collard green and peach cobbler. Great pickles. Expensive for 3 tough ribs two pieces of cold brisket and cold burnt ends. Would I eat here again? NO. Less star option?

Well I have eaten here a few times now and I feel like this time everything got micro sized. I paid $2 for a side of chilli and got a tiny plastic sample cup of it (see pic) why? They probably throw out 10 pounds of it each night. But somehow it is too much to ask to serve some in an actual cup? Also the regular pulled pork sandwhich is now child portioned. I guess you must now pay $11 for the large sandwhich in order to get a regular size? There is no one ever hardly in here. Rarely a soul in the drive thru. Texans are used to big. So if you go cheap on them its only a matter of time until the house of cards falls…I wish owners would understand that. 🙁

Been coming here weekly for the past 6 months. It’s low key and a great place to grab a cold beer. Environment is relaxed and bartender, Shannon, is welcoming and attentive!
I “hear” folks like to order their groceries and grab a drink here while they wait … what a novel idea 🙂

I don’t know how this is the best kept secret in Georgetown. The BBQ is top notch. The dining area and the upstairs bar(in a HEB!) are immaculate. And the prices are almost too good to be true. Turns out, they have a good selection of brown water…

True Texas BBQ inside HEB should not be overlooked. They served up a really good fatty brisket, and the pulled pork was just as good. Love the sauce! Sides were as expected. There are two levels for dining, with tvs showing sports.

Their food is delicious but they need better “to go” packaging. I ordered 2 brisket ramen bowls tonight and one of them tipped over in my car and spilled everywhere.
I called and recommended to at least put some tape on the lid and they said their tape is not very strong. Either get better “to go” cups that will hold liquid without the lid popping off easily or get stronger tape to secure the lid or use aluminum foil to wrap entire cup with lid.

I love HEB. I love their BBQ. But the thing I love the most is their $5 margaritas at the bar. Shannon is one of our favorite bartenders in the area. This place is a hidden gem inside the H-E-B in Georgetown.
