The service was incredible! We had never been here and Rhonda was so kind and helpful! She explained the menu, offered to use a coupon for us, and kept refilling our drinks throughout (it’s not a sit down restaurant with waiters/waitresses, so this was above and beyond)!
The food was so good! The creamed corn, ribs, cornbread, and pulled pork were our favorite!
Also it was SO FAST! Definitely will come back again!

First off the ladies that were cooking were so nice, my husband got the la jefe sandwich and I got the sausage loaded potato. I gotta tell you it was the best loaded potato of my entire life. I already know I’m gonna be going back there. The girl that made the loaded baked potato was Christy and she was so nice! Go to True Texas barbecue, their food delicious and their customer service is amazing!

Not bad pricing and good portions. Plates are a good deal. Did mess up our sauce, so we didn’t have any sauce to eat our BBQ with. Our reciept even states sweet BBQ sauce. I was really wanting sauce with my brisket and sandwich, really kinda disappointed by that.

5 stars all around. The server, Rhonda, was beyond friendly in walking us through the menu and added to the experience. The food was great as well, the sandwiches were packed full of meat. While I didnt drive a hour for this place specifically I would drive a hour to eat here again.

If you’re wanting bbq this is the spot for you. The Jeffe sandwich was incredible. My wife got loaded Mac and cheese as well as potato salad and both were great. The employees are helpful and considerate and the patio atmosphere lends itself greatly to enjoying good bbq. All around it’s a great time! Also I wish I had taken a photo of the sandwich but it was too good to wait so here is a photo of the potato salad

Okay…listen!!! This was an amazing experience! First time trying this in Waxahachie! The food was excellent and the service SUPERB! had brisket and pulled pork. One of the workers (Kristi) even let us try there seasonal item “brisket chilli dipper”.Super nice people here
The manager was super nice. They continued to ask us “how are we, and how isthe food.” People have no idea how much it means to have good customer service!

This is the MOST consistently good BBQ. Ribs, brisket, and turkey are incredible most days! It is outside under a pavilion (nice TV’s with sports) so plan accordingly. Kids love to go into HEB and pick their drink out while we wait for our order. Team is very friendly and helpful! You order by kiosk so just be prepared, but team is usually there if you need help or have questions! Would highly recommend!!

Ordered a 3 meat plate at the waxahachie location which had a coupon for a free dessert. I thought I scanned the coupon when checking out. Got to the window to get my food and asked about the dessert. The lady acted like she had never heard of this coupon, even with the huge sticker advertising it right on the window where I was picking up the order. She had to ask someone else about the promotion. Then said “sorry” you had to scan the coupon and didn’t give me the dessert.

Texan here. Got to be the worsts bbq I’ve ever had. Brisket tough and the sauce is awful! The Mac and cheese was quite good. Definitely do not recommend. Just my opinion.
