After a run through our local H-E-B, I knew the trip wouldn’t be complete without triggering a BBQ encounter. This place doesn’t hold back, clean setup, friendly service, and portions that feel like a fully charged Hyper Beam. I went with the Brisket BBQ Cornbread and a side of Brisket Beans, and as someone who firmly believes beans belong in chili, this combo landed like a Critical Hit. The meal filled me up like a Full Restore and sent me home ready to unload groceries with HP restored. Safe to say, this is a repeatable route I’ll be grinding again… and again… and again.

First time visitor and was super impressed. Sadly they were out of a few popular items, but Delina was super sweet and she took care of us. Highly recommend stopping in and saying hi. The service was outstanding and the food just as tasty. Dinner at the supermarket with bread on one aisle and brisket afterwards… sounds like a plan!

We ordered some really tasty potatoes loaded with meat and cheese, as well as a sandwich with sausage and pickles. It was delicious. If you come here, I definitely recommend trying these potatoes with meat. They’re amazing. They’re the most delicious potatoes with meat I’ve ever had. Our bill for two was $21.

When in a rush and need a good hearty and so so healthy meal in a jiffy ….. the family meal deal hits the SPOT and it is THE SPOT…..protein fix with the fixings and comes with a Gallon of Tea!!!! Delina at the window make sure she really takes care of you and gets you all that you need….the brisket the turkey the sides …. All good and plenty they don’t leave you wanting more they leave you wanting to go back and keeps you in mind for next time!!! Well done!!!

We have been to the HEB bbq at another location which was clean and nice. At 215pm on a Thursday more than half the tables were open and all of them dirty and sticky. The sliced Brisket and burnt ends were very good. The slaw and potato salad not my favorite. The only bbq sauce they offered me had a really bad flavor. I will not be back to this location.

I’ve never been here before and didn’t know that it was part of HEB, but it was………..interesting, to say the least. Service was very friendly, the atmosphere looks great, and the food was……………..ok. I was truly hoping for something more akin to Famous Dave’s which I DEEPLY hope will expand to the Frisco/Plano/The Colony/McKinney/Allen areas.
The soda was sadly not as cool which is a let down. The chicken tenders were a little too tough to bite into and while the meat tasted ok at best it had a strong aftertaste that isn’t the greatest. I honestly think they need to lighten up on the seasoning, make the meat softer, and add more breading to it. The fries are the best of the 3 but they need to make it juicer. They’re potato wedges which sadly I don’t see offered as often but they had this tornado shape to it which I’ve never seen. I told the employee that I’d honestly would rename the Potato Twisters which I think perfect describes these fries.
Overall, it was alright. It’s not the greatest but it’s definitely not among the worst. I’d say check it out if you’re curious.

I was trying to have a really good review because it does smelll good from out in the store. I was disappointed. Brisket is greasy. Didn’t have roasted chicken. Didn’t offer BBQ sauce so I ate it dry. Which not a terrible thing. Food is average. Not worth $25.00 for two meat. They pepper their ribs to spicy. Its just ok. Nothing worth going out of way for.

This evening Marcus and Rob prepared my order. They were exceptionally Kind, Friendly and Attentive. They took care of my husband and I and didn’t skip a beat. They are wonderful workers and definitely deserve high praise!! Our food was delicious and we look forward to coming back again. Lastly kudos to Marcus for answering the phone, other locations dont do this, Plano location is standing out for all the right reasons!!! Thanks guys

The food was excellent! Service excellent the best chili brisket ever! And the cook/register attendant Andrew was so very courteous,kind and welcoming. Also Charlie from a sister H-E-B happened to be there and treated the customers so welcoming, Charlie actually saw I hadn’t ordered a drink went out his way to give me water. What a great company everyone is so inviting.
