We will not be going back ever ! It was so unwelcoming and the lady that was running the restaurant was so rude and unprofessional and not to mention her daughter was rude as well. I don’t know if she was just having a bad day but it is not okay to be running a business that way! The chicken that she served us was pink which means it was undone and when we told her about it she denied it and blamed it on the brine! There was also a problem with the card being charged extra times. She basically accused us of lying! They both need to learn customer service!

I had the 2 meat platter. Both the pulled pork and the brisket were succulent and delicious. These meats have a wonderful flavor that literally stands on its own! No need to add any of the sauces for an amazing flavor. But play around with the sauces! A wide variety of great homemade sauces that range from sweet to fiery. The sides I chose were the potato salad, a very nice, gently seasoned salad. The Firehouse beans had a very good, flavorful, and not overly hot, spice to them. I’d highly recommend this restaurant.

Best place for bbq. The lady that helped us that I’m guessing is the owner was so nice. She assist us on our order and recommended the best for our money. Bbq sauces amazing. Food amazing. A place to go back for sure.

Was skeptical of trying the food here…i had the one meat dinner platter with pulled pork. The pulled pork was very delicious, juicy and flavorful. The bacon corn is to die for. Didn’t like the green beans so much. The honey butter they serve with the Hawaiian roll is also really good. The customer service was excellent. I will most definitely be back! Highly recommend!!!

Really disappointed in our experience with their food truck this weekend. A HS or college aged girl was running the ordering window, and the service left a lot to be desired. There was no smile, didn’t seem to know the menu, was explicitly rude and rolled her eyes when my family handed her our CC to pay. This was our first experience, but will also be our last. Pork was good, but greasy. Corn and beans were fairly good. Chicken and Mac were dry/overly smoked. Better options elsewhere.

Friendly people, that know how to make great food plus it’s a local business. Win-win. The Sliced Beef Brisket was some of the best I’ve ever had. The Pulled Pork was excellent also. The Spicy Sausage is properly named and was delicious. The Country Mashed side won us over. The Firehouse Beans have some heat and are great. Wife loved the Candied Yams and the fresh roll with homemade apple butter. Well done y’all!

I moved here from the south and one thing I’ve missed was good barbecue. I finally tried this place everyone has been telling me about and I am 100% happy. The owner also went out of their way to get chicken gizzards and make them for me even though it’s not on their menu, turned out amazing, even better than the gizzards I would get down south. Customer service was awesome and the food was even better. I highly recommend eating here, I will definitely be a regular now.

I ordered True Smoke for my team at Central Bark Rochester this past Saturday through Grub Hub. This was my first time trying it out and we all thought it was amazing! I myself had the 2 meat plate with pulled pork and brisket with Mac and Cheese and beans as my sides. Everything was cooked perfect, tasted fresh and even arrived about 10 minutes early. The only thing I would change is trying a different sauce than what was sent, it was good, but had more of a kick than I was expecting for a Saturday afternoon :)! Will be ordering again and hopefully be out to the physical location soon too!!

Horrible experience with the food truck. Waited in line for a long time and paid $8 for what was basically 2 bites of meat, cold corn and potatoes, and one bite of mac n cheese that was supposed to be cheese curds.
