It was our first time ever hearing of the place and we stopped in for ice cream. I was delighted to find out they make everything they serve in house, that’s amazing! The flavors were very good however the way they serve things needs some work. My husband ordered a “small” cone and it was 3 scoops piled high- I think a child would be happy to get this much ice cream but my husband was truly looking for a small. I ordered mint chip with brownie pieces in a waffle bowl. I was hoping for to be mixed in but instead I got a bowl that someone just dumped 1/2 cup of brownie pieces on top of. Great flavor but it was again too much and the presentation wasn’t what I’d expect. We’ll be back and maybe order extra small of everything. It was a cute place to sit and have ice cream for sure.

Out of towners here. Beautiful shop. The owner is very nice, makes all their ice cream in house. Best ice cream around. He is very knowledgeable and puts his heart into everything he does. Staff is also very kind and caring too. 100% recommend if you are in the area! We drove 45 minutes and I wouldn’t go anywhere else

What a gem of a place! We wanted to get an assortment to try because the flavors all sounded so good. And we were NOT disappointed. Incredible bursts of flavor and so creamy! Not only that, we got to talk to the owner and you can tell his heart and soul is in this place. So genuine and lovely. This will now be a regular stop for us! True North is the best in town!! A precious atmosphere for a summer (or winter) hang, but honestly I’d come here even if it was in the middle of a dump!!! The owner is the most intentional, dedicated human being, who makes fresh ice cream BY HAND, everyday. Every flavor is a win. Lovely staff. I come visit every time I come home.

Really good ice cream – nice and chunky with candy pieces and nuts, etc. Something worth knowing: they don’t offer samples, and they do have adult only flavors. I got two good sizes scoops with sprinkles and whipped cream and it cost just over $5. Pretty good deal!

This place’s ice cream was really good! I ordered the coffee crunch and the flavor was immaculate! However, the man taking my order was extremely rude! I was confused being a first time customer and he seemed extremely annoyed before I even placed my order! THEN, my boyfriend went after and I caught him saying “well that wasn’t very hard was it.” That was very unprofessional! All of the other workers were very nice and sweet! I hope next time I come he has a better attitude!
