It came recommended by a server years ago. Finally decided to try it after the local Spokane Valley restaurants were packed. We had prompt seating, were handed menu’s and served extremely fast. The main server Natalie was extremely pleasant, prompt, kind, wa so genuinely friendly we were blown away and she went above and beyond by offering to take a picture of our big family, 7 and a baby. The other two, a guy and gal, who brought the appetizers we’re extremely nice as well but didn’t catch their names, both younger in teens or early 20s. Food was phenomenal, cooked to fantastic and the serving sizes were massive .We had the rib platter fantastic! Alfredo pasta with the most amazing alfredo sauce ive ever had. We had a pizza , a calzone, a ribeye cooked perfectly rare which is hard to get and a pulled pork dip sandwich with house made chips. We had a couple adult beverages that were also amazing! With costs rising this place wasn’t just competitive but for the quality a steal in my family’s opinion. Will definitely come back sooner than later.

We stopped in for dinner with another couple. Had a really nice meal. I got the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. It was excellent. Everybody was happy with their food. It’s like a large sports bar with different rooms. There was a patio with live music that evening.

Why 3 stars? Restaurant week; ordered Manhattans with Dewars instead of bottom shelf whiskey. Charged us $10 for the Manhattan then an additional $7.5 for Dewars. $7.5 for Dewars!!! Which is slightly higher shelf than rot gut whiskey. Wouldn’t have minded if they didn’t water down the drink also. Think I can’t taste Dewars? That’s why I ask for Dewars in those types of drinks, so I can taste whether they put it in or not. In this case: not.
Prime rib I got was OK. Mrs. got the Restaurant Special. 1st “course” lettuce on a plate with some dressing… tasteless. 2nd “course” got the seafood pasta $25 special…. all green sauce (pesto? hard to say) & noodles. Sliver of salmon, 1 medium shrimp. That’s all folks.
I understand that $25 for a “3 course meal” is inexpensive. But if you’re going to do it, be in restaurant week specials, and need to make same profit if you charged $25 just for entree then you risk these types of reviews when you chintz out.
Finally service…. not crowded, seen it much more crowded many times, so why was our wait staff so pissed off? And indifferent to us?
We like Legions, we’ll be back I’m sure ’cause we also like to shoot a game of pool. But this was a sad experience.

The Voodoo pasta was PERFECT! If you like spicy food (has shrimp, sausage and peppers) I definitely recommend it. The pull pork and chicken wings were also amazing. Even though we went on a Friday night and it was super busy, we had fast and friendly service. It’s definitely a bar scene so it was loud, TVs everywhere, great decor, we loved it!

Came as a last minute choice. It came recommended by a server years ago for us to finally remember after the local Spokane Valley restaurants were packed. Food was phenomenal, cooked to delight and much more food than the average restaurant. With costs rising this place wasn’t just competitive but for the quality a steal in my family’s opinion. Will definitely come back sooner than later.

True Legends never really disappoints. With their extensive menu of American eats, there’s always something for everyone there. Sometimes, you just want a classic dinner that you didn’t have to cook yourself. When the description for the spaghetti and meatballs highlighted their “signature red sauce,” I had to try it! The red sauce was just ok, nothing really signature worthy. Meatballs were great, noodles cooked right. My friend got the Calzone. It was a generous size. She seemed to like it but could only finish half. I’ve had salads and other apps and entrees there in the past that were really good. Plenty of good drink options… My Extra Dirty Martini was filthy good and loaded with extra olives upon my request!

Rolled up around 715 – 730ish with a group of 7 plus a baby.
We were sat IMMEDIATELY. Given menus by the hostess and then our server Natalie made her first appearance at our table within 3 minutes. Took our drink order (mostly water and two alcoholic beverages) and was back with them in 5 minutes flat. Proceeded to take more drink orders (kids decided they wanted soda too) and appetizer orders.
We got two orders of Calamari, a thing of cheese bites, and a thing of loaded potato skins.
When I tell you it was all FIRE I freaking mean it.
Natalie got our entree order, where we ordered MORE Calamari (cause OH MY FREAKING GOSH IT WAS SO GOOD).
Food came out. Ranging from steak, to a sandwhich, to a pizza, a calzone, pasta, and ribs – NOT A SINGLE NEGATIVE FEELING ABOUT ANY OF THE FOOD.
Alfredo sauce was to die for. House made and top freaking tier
And when I tell you I don’t know how long it’s been since we’ve had a waitress like Natalie, but she was fantastic.
Serving is hard work, and serving large groups doesn’t help but she was SO GOOD.
So kind. So patient with the kids. Smiley, bubbly, personable and professional the WHOLE time.
Not to mention she kept our drinks filled and never went more than maybe a 10 minutes without a check in. And not one that makes you feel rushed either.
It’s not the cheapest place to eat, but when you consider the food quality and the service?? Absolutely worth it.
Hands down new fave for our family.
If you haven’t checked them out yet, you’re def missing out

Place is dated but the staff was fairly attentive. Decent bloody, had some heat on it. Chicken fried steak itself was good, nicely breaded and crispy, gravy tasted like straight flour.

I’ll let you know when I’m done. LOL. So as usual the small nachos was way too much, the voodoo pasta was excellent my wife’s roast beef dip was perfect and way too much food so I had to bring half of it home.

My husband and I went to the establishment for lunch, having been told that the food was good. However, I was disappointed with the burger royal, as the flavors were unpleasant and it was the worst burger I have ever had. My husband found the flavor combinations puzzling. When the waitress asked if I would like a different burger, I chose the smash burger with mayonnaise only. Unfortunately, the second burger arrived with all the toppings, including onions, mustard, and ketchup, which I did not want. The experience was unsatisfactory, and after waiting an additional 20 minutes, we asked for the bill and left, with no plans to return.
