The sharing menu is awesome. We split the chicken wrap and salad plus iced tea for $20. The salad had nuts, dates, cheese and jicama. All the food was fresh and very tasty. We had the ranch on the side. It tasted very homemade. The salad dressing was a lovely vinegarette. Food came out quickly and server was super. The restaurant is a little loud, but we could chat easily.

We had lunch at True Food Kitchen on a Saturday afternoon. The food was good, and the grass fed beef burger was probably one of the best burgers we had. Packed with 50 grams of protein, it was fresh, the patty was juicy and delicious. The fries were soggy which is why I removed one star. We also had wild caught tuna bowl and it was filling and tasty. They have lots of fresh juices and smoothies too. The service was great, our waiter was very friendly and attentive without overdoing it. High quality food at reasonable prices in a clean & open space. Highly recommend.

First time at this scratch kitchen restaurant serving seasonal food. “Bobby” recommended and we agree. The cocktails were both very good.
The food was fresh and delicious. No shortage of flavor in all the dishes.
The fresh cut fries were tasty, as a side, but they were weirdly cold.
I got the pesto pasta and my husband got the grass fed tenderloin.
The desserts were good. Vegan ice cream was delicious.
The service was very good. The server was very helpful and friendly.

Ordered the Lasagne Al Pesto, honey roasted carrots, & lasagne al pesto. I didn’t really like the burger…it was cooked just fine so I’m thinking my palate just didn’t agree with the meat type. The carrots were good but the lasagna was phenomenal.

I got the teriyaki bowl with salmon, edamame dumplings, and adaptogenic tulsi tea and woowwww! The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is relaxed and comforting. Service was great! I have a dietary restriction and they were very accommodating.
I love that they had a lot of healthy options! The tea alone made my night!

This was my boyfriend’s and my first visit to True Food Kitchen, and we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was stylish and welcoming, with spacious booths that could comfortably seat larger groups.
I ordered the fresh tuna poke bowl alongside a dragon fruit pink lemonade, while my boyfriend went with the All-American burger and a coffee. The food was fresh and flavorful, with slightly smaller portions—which is expected from a restaurant that prides itself on being organic and seed oil-free. Honestly, this is the kind of mindful eating we should all strive for.
There was a minor issue with my meal, but both the server and the manager handled it immediately and with genuine care. It was the fastest and most accommodating response I’ve experienced at any restaurant. Thank you both for your kindness

The dining experience at this establishment was delightful. The culinary offerings were truly exceptional, especially for those seeking vegetarian or vegan options, as there was a diverse array of choices available. Additionally, the service provided was prompt and efficient, ensuring a seamless dining experience. However, it’s worth noting that the pricing may be considered a bit steep by some patrons. Despite this minor drawback, the overall quality of the food and service certainly makes it a worthwhile dining destination.

True Food Kitchen in Oakbrook was a pleasant spot for lunch while out and about shopping, offering a menu filled with fresh and flavorful options suitable for all types of eaters. The atmosphere was inviting, and the variety on the menu made it easy to find something for everyone.
During our visit on 3/14, our waiter told us about their Pi Day special, where pizzas were just $3.14, which sounded like a fantastic deal. Intrigued, we decided to try their sourdough crust pizzas. The crust was crispy and well-executed, showcasing their attention to quality. However, what wasn’t mentioned was that the promotion was limited to just one pizza per table. Unfortunately, we only found this out when the bill arrived, after each of us had ordered our own pizza. Had we known this limitation upfront, we likely would have adjusted our order.
On the beverage side, the spritzers and matcha lattes were enjoyable, though a bit on the pricey side. Despite the confusion with the promotion, the overall meal was satisfying, and the food quality stood out. True Food Kitchen remains a solid choice for a fresh, health-conscious meal, but clearer communication about promotions would have made the experience even better.

Good vegetarian and vegan options. Their fried chicken sandwich is great. Nice drinks and small but good collection of wines. I love their oat milk espresso. The staff is good but both the times we went the place was busy and staff was overwhelmed. Their pizza is okay not great.
