I had the turkey burger with a kale salad, and it was delicious — super flavorful but still light and satisfying. Danny got the chicken tenders with sweet potato chips and loved them, and Jason had a burger that he said was one of the best he’s had.
And we had to finish with dessert — the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream was the perfect sweet ending.
A little on the pricy side but Highly recommend if you’re looking for something delicious that also makes your body feel good. We’ll definitely be back! ✨
We went back to the restaurant to address these issues and were met with a very laissez-faire attitude, “That’s just how it comes… oh the fry seasoning in the photo is extra… the tuna dish is by weight. They all look like that.” The tuna is weighed out, that is understandable but that should not effect the lack of the other components of the dish. The manager’s remedy was to tell us to keep the original tuna bowl and they will make another one. At this point, the first tuna bowl had been out for an hour. Consuming tuna left out that long room temperature does not sound like a good idea.
Basically in conclusion, I’m writing this review to forewarn others of the price to portion size ratio or maybe just go in person to have better service, hot food and a better experience.
Let’s start off with they do have parking validation, which I tried to find on their website, but I couldn’t and we had paid in the garage by the time we had walked to the door, so a useful bit of information to save yourself some money.
The inside of the restaurant is nice, with an open kitchen. At first when I looked at the menu, it is pricier side, but knowing they pride themselves on ingredients I was still interested. As well as my dinner partner being vegan which their menu does accommodate. Our server was awesome, especially when we mentioned we hadn’t been there before he gave us a nice little rundown and some recs. I got the Citrus Salmon Salad and the portion size was great. And that dressing was delicious, I need one for my house. Overall good experience and I would come back to try a pizza.
“A whole cheese pizza just for me” and I loved every bite of it!
Thank you for a fabulous lunch!
Original: I’m bummed to have to write this review! I’ve previously loved TFK, but their quality has plummeted in the last few months. I only gave two stars because I love their mission with sustainable sourcing and healthy cooking methods, but my meals have been borderline inedible recently. In my most recent order of Ancient Grains Bowl with steak, my steak (that I paid an extra $9 for) was either cooked into oblivion or basically raw–no in between. Most of the sweet potatoes were undercooked to the point of being crunchy. This has been the case with the last 3-4 times I have ordered it. The flavors are great, but the poor cooking makes it inedible. For the price, the quality is absolutely unacceptable.
