So Trudy’s was closed unfortunately. They were located in one of the hardest hit areas from hurricane Ida. We as a line crew worked all day in front of Trudy’s, and they were gracious and hospitable the entire time despite our noisiness and sometimes Savage ways lol… They brought us water and let us Park our trucks there and in general were good people, so I don’t care how their food is I’ve never had it, it doesn’t matter go to Trudy’s and support this business.

Great service, great food, great prices. I was traveling through the area and they made me feel so at home and cared for- I still remember them 3 years later writing this review. The owner even took time out of her day to explain the “Krabby Patty” to me- which was fantastic by the way. Phenomenal restaurant, a must visit

Trudy’s is as consistent as they come! Simple food done right! Not a big selection but you’ll enjoy what you get! Step back in time with the real “down da bayou” experience.

I’ve had the hamburger po boy with fries. It was absolutely delicious. I’ve eaten there quite a bit through the years and food always on point. I’m upset that they’re closed today. I want a delicious po boy. Lol.

This place is always on point with their cheeseburgers! It always seems to be the best flavor at these mom and pops ( Grandma and Grandpa ) Burger joints. I try to stop as often as possible when we pass by.

I was with a co worker and wasn’t familiar with the area. Stopped at Trudy’s to grab something quick to eat. She told us everything was made to order and it would take at least 20-25 minutes to cook. Pretty much didn’t welcome us at all. I believe it was the color of our skin.

That small, locally operated hometown dinner. The burgers are as good as they get. In fact all the food is. We love this place..

Shrimp poboy was so salty. We stopped Sunday July 31. And I love salt. Fries were a Lil dry. Poboy bread was delicious. Not impressed.

So far, out of all the places I’ve visited here in New Orleans area, this one has had the best food. I had a roast beef po-boy and my boyfriend had a crabbie patty. I tried his and it was amazing. I also liked my po-boy. I recommend this little place.
The staff here were wonderful and nice – there were old photos of past history and all the service men who fought. It was extremely interesting to read and look at everything.
If you ever be going thru the area, it’s a good place to stop and eat!

I heard Rob and his body came here after they had Ceviche in Miami in their Cabana.
So I had to go check it out. Great place and even Snarf Snarf OBanion who can be picky with food enjoyed what he got.
