First time at this location and customer service was super nice. I went to the Troy location a couple of months ago and they were sold out of the cinnamon sticks so I was super excited to try. Food was hot. We even got a thank you note with our food. We ordered carry out and it took about 30 mins.
This is my 3rd time ordering their BLT pizza. We also got a take a bake and they provide instructions. You can get almost every pizza take and bake except the BLT (they don’t recommend it) It’s like already precooked and you cook it more in your oven at home.
I did see a crappy review that someone wrote and someone else who isn’t gluten free supporting local restaurants.
Listen, I’ve tried a lot of gluten free products and gluten free places and I do enjoy this place.
I want to buy just their dough next time and make my own pizza at home for a fun meal idea.
I haven’t tried their deep dish but their pizza is fresh and crispy and cooked well.
Lots of seating inside. As soon as you’re inside there’s a cash register when you walk in and a sign that says you’ll be seated by the hostess.
I don’t give a about the price because I know gluten free is more expensive regardless due to the flour and stuff.
All I’m saying is give them a try.

First time eating at Tru and we had the flatbread, truffle fries, deep dish pizza, and the elephant ear. The food and service were amazing!! We live 40 minutes away but was so worth the drive for the best gluten free pizza we’ve had and we will be back.

Im so happy they’re near me! I use to drive to Troy for pizza. As an appetizer I had fried pickles with a side of ranch. It was very tangy, and had that tart kick to it. It was pretty good, but nothing special. I had a meat lovers Detroit style pizza, with half banana peppers. The crust was crispy and the cheese was savory, I rate it a 10/10! The cinnamon sticks were my absolute favorite! I met the owner and he was going table to table introducing himself, he was very nice and so were the servers. I’ll definitely be back!

Dont get me started on the 10 dollar elephant ear. Thats carnival prices and a carnivals is two times bigger and 10 times better. Now I feel like a carnival clown for buying this from you.
The other 5 star reviews must be your friends. This type of quality (at premium pricing) will catch up quickly to you.
Oh and your parking situation sucks for carry out.

Ordered takeout thru their website which was a super easy and seamless process. Greeted immediately upon stepping in the door and accepted my pizzas waiting in the warmer. Ordered the deep dish and thin crust Hawaiian. Kids enjoyed the deep dish and I loved the Hawaiian! The crispy crust is perfect. Overall great experience and pizza. Keep up the great work and we’ll be back soon!

So glad this opened downriver! Tru’s gluten free food is so good that I used to drive over an hour to the Troy location just to get some! Would love if the Wyandotte location added chicken fingers, but with all the variety on the menu in the 3 visits I’ve had so far I haven’t gotten the same thing twice. Except the elephant ear, which I get everytime :). The service is also top notch.

The pizza is so good, possibly the best gluten free crust I’ve ever had. I have celiac disease, so it’s fantastic to have a place nearby where I have a whole menu to choose from.
I had a Hawaiian pizza and some dry wings with ranch – both were fantastic. The fries were undercooked, but they were still tasty!
I’ll definitely be back.
