Paige, Meghan, and Becca are the best bartenders here I wish they worked every night! 10/10 service. Great atmosphere. Amazing food (especially the burgers)!! Those bartenders and servers are truly my favorite you will always enjoy your time here with them! They actually talk to you like humans and don’t worry they won’t mess up your tabs (I know that’s an issue at some bars)!! This is an amazing bar with great bartenders and you’re lucky to get those 3 bartenders!!

Went for happy hour: American burger and my friend ordered fried bologna sandwich and we shared cheese curds.
Happy hour apps are half. Last time I went was a few months after they opened and ordered the same burger and curds and have to say this time was good but not like last time which was exceptional. The burger then tasted like a juicy homemade big smash and curds were homemade square and this time tasted a bit sweet like pancake batter and well let’s just say…we didn’t eat all of them like last time. We went during shift change and bartenders are super nice! Looking forward to New Lenox one opening and will definitely give them a try

GREAT food!!! I got cornmeal catfish & my boyfriend got the Nashville hot chix sandwich. Both amazing and the fries are delicious also.

I want to start with the positives. The place looks great. I love how it has been redone. The fries were really good the food presentation was really nice too.
We opted to sit outside, it is a lovely dining area out there. Every table was gross though. We picked a table and the waitress said she would be back to clean it. She came back after a bit for drink orders. When she brought the drinks back she informed me they didn’t have the pop I had ordered. I asked for a coke. I got a root beer. No biggie, didn’t even mention it. I had to clean the table myself because having our drinks on the gross table was pretty yuck. She eventually came back and we asked for menus. omg why did we need to ask for them? She seemed surprised we wanted food. We also had to ask to have our table wiped off (I only cleaned so much).
The menus were all sticky and crusty. After a very long wait she came back for our orders. It was only then that we were informed two items are discontinued (because I tried to order one). Would have been nice to know that when we got the menus.
The burger I got was a southwest burger. The pulled pork that was on it actually was nice and juicy but didn’t have much flavor. Drinks are served in cheapo plastic cups which gave off a cheap vibe, although the meal is served on a nice wood platter.
Will I be back? No. I wanted to like this place, but sadly, it was lacking in all the important areas…fun decor cannot overcompensate for mediocre food and horrendous service.

We came here for a few drinks and an appetizer. The bar was very bright and appealing. We ordered onion rings and was a large batch that was perfectly cooked. I was pleasantly surprised. We will come back again for a full meal.

I love the cheese curds here!!! And our bartender/waitress had to be the BEST EVER!! Thank you Norma!!! You’re the best!!! It really means a lot to have a server/bartender to be as good as Norma. The food can be great at a place but if you have unfriendly, crappy service we wouldn’t go back. Kudos to Tru Country & Norma!!!!

Great place. Bar restaurant with patriot theme. They had a smash burger on special that if it wasn’t the best I’ve had, at least on the top 5. Amazing! My only comment to improve would be the bar height tables around the bar.. wobbly, plus not very comfortable stools – feels like youre sliding out and no place to rest your feet. The burger, fries, great drinks and service made up for that and then some.

This place a great time. The atmosphere and people are always nice and make it worth the 50 mile ride out. The food is great and fairly priced for what you are getting. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to have a drink and eat some great food.
