Great dining experience. The patio was lovely and the food was wonderful! Loved the short rib, the bolognese was good (not the best I’ve had, but good), the bread service was great. They also have a large sized bar that appears it would be easy for walk ins. I’ll definitely return when I’m in town again!

Our group of six had an exceptional dining experience tonight at Trovato at Hidden River. This is a beautiful restaurant nestled on the grounds of a golf and casting club that provides such a picturesque setting. Our server, Ruth, made great food and beverage suggestions. She was fun and professional and positively affected our dining experience. I ordered the Wagyu Short Rib and it was delicious. Everyone raved about their meal! The Caesar Salad was a favorite. The meals were paired with amazing side dishes. . Trovato is a gem! We all intend to return as soon as we can! I highly recommend Trovato!

Penne bolognese is outstanding. Chicken piccata that night was a bit too thin, so drier than we’ve had in the past.

Wonderful food, superior wait staff, and great view! Six of us ordered different dishes and every one was quite delicious. Highlights were the mixed meats meatballs, the short ribs, and the diver scallops risotto. Our waitress, Ruth, was attentive, made on-target wine recommendations, and ensured we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The view to the golf course and river was lovely and we arrive around 5 PM to have drinks outside around the electronic fire pit. I suggest you eat early as it became very busy around 6:30-7 when we were eating our desserts. This is our 3rd visit while in the area and will definitely come back!

We were looking for a good restaurant that was kid friendly nearby. Travato fit the bill!
The food was excellent! Two of us had Prawns Scampi. We were both so pleased with the meal! One of us is gluten and dairy free and the staff was very accommodating!
One of us had spaghetti and this little person loved it!
The fourth person had gnocchi that was excellent!
We had 3 apps that were great too!
Jason, our server, was excellent; very attentive and worked with our food sensitivities so that we’d have a great meal.
The ambiance was upscale North Woods with tasteful taxidermy, iron and wood in an open, airy dining room and bar. Beautiful views are available of the Maple River outside the huge windows! There is seating on a large deck and on a patio overlooking the river.
We will definitely dine here again!
