The food was amazing, I asked for the speacial of the day and they got me a mushroom hamburger with swiss cheese and fries. The food felt home made and tasty, I loved it. The beautiful view of the river and nature gives a huge plus to the experience.
The local is amazing and well furnished, I loved the decoration.
Customer service is fantastic, two waitresses were in turn, but they were extremely sweet and helpful.
Definitely a place I will return!

All round great American Dinner. They were able to seat out group of seven. Great history, hospitality off the hook friendly. Even a visit from the chef to confirm all was well. Food very fresh, coffee hot and tasty. Will go back!

On our visit we only stop to have coffee and a cinnamon roll and the cinnamon roll was absolutely delicious.
The view wasn’t bad either with the snow and our server was very sweet.
We will try to go by there again! ☺️

I’ve been going to this restaurant since 1982. It’s been in the Tucker family since the 1960’s. Life gets busy and I had not been here for a few years, but I went last Sunday. Oh how I love this restaurant, the atmosphere, the view , the people but most of all the food! Always cooked the way I order it. I had a hard time deciding between the steak breakfast or the trout breakfast. I chose the steak and was a happy camper. I will be back several more times this year as the drive always changes with the seasons and the reward of a good meal is only 35 minutes away.

We stopped for a quick lunch, but service was slow. Food was good. Bacon Burger was good, fries were crisp, onion rings had a nice batter, and Chili Corn Chowder wad tasty. Decor was cute with vintage items. Nice view of yard with creek but no access. We will not stop next time unless we have more time.

Such a nice place! Beautiful scenery next yo the creek and amazing costumer service! When you enter you feel welcome as a member of the family. Unfortunately I was not able to sleep in the actual lodge but if I was provided with the time I would. I hope i gisit this place and its kind employees sometime again! Its only flaw, the souvineers are spendy but they are very nice, and the food is welly priced.

We stopped for breakfast on July 27th. My wife and I both had omelets that were delicious. Visited with our waitress who told us she had waitressed there on and off for 30 years. Also visited with the owner who gave us some of the history of the restaurant and motel. His parents bought the place in 1965 or 1966 as I recall. Both the waitress and owner were super friendly. The place is a step back in time and the view of the outside area and river was beautiful. We definitely recommend this hidden gem.
